As I'm showing the guy the phone and asking if the screen protector can over the ghost armor if I need the extra protection (it can) i opened the twitch app by accident so he starts asking me all these questions. Do you stream? What platforms do you use? What games do you play? So here's a chance to connect with a random individual over a shared hobby (or free advertising for my stream huehue) but what do I do? I shut down. 'I don't really have time for games much anymore. Yeah I stream a little sometimes I guess.' An overwhelming feeling of embarrassment comes over me. I know we as gamers have this vast culture that is ever-expanding into the world but I still can't help but feel the stigma, especially since I'm 'older' and have a family. I mean, the guy probably thought I was his age (early 20s I imagine) when starting the conversation but still. Do I need to continue the facade of nonchalance for the rest of my life and hide my self-consciousness over something relatively inane? I continually get the feeling that I don't act my age (nor dress it most of the time) but is that a bad thing? Will it cause me issues? I wonder how I'll handle a mid-life crisis if this is how I constantly feel about myself. Edit: Hi PX.

Meanwhile I had 4 weapons in hand and 9 HP as my turn 4 started after the buffed squirer then buffed SSC onslaught. ![]() Man that was getting bodied hard. Managed to survive till turn 9 somehow (he only needed a consecrate from turn 5, I was on 2 HP). Wave, it's not about being slef-conscious. It's more, I guess... learning to take a step back in these situations? It comes from experience so you'll still stumble a bit, but if you can create them (or just expose yourself to them, no need to force anything) you'll end up managing at least once. I mean, I know you were speaking "in general", but it's the broad idea of "training yourself" for it that I'm talking about. If you just keep going that way you'll end up having regrets the way you do now, but without the opportunities to make up for them. And your brooding self would probably happily let that happen because it's at ease with it in the end. I'm 26 years old soon and I've thought for years "meh I didn't enjoy my teen years like I should have, I'll never have what others had" until I made it true because it was too late and I'd been inactive before. I've shaken myself a bit but there's still stuff I won't catch up to. Don't be like that. o/

Man all these paladins are running the super aggro little shits deck with Avenging Wrath as the finisher. Where did all the control go? D: Not that I should complain, that Warrior shit seems so good at stalling aggro with all the armour and the AoE. Daaaamn. I lost to a hunter. Who played badly (he could have killed me the turn before considering what he had in hand, but he didn't realise it, and even when he killed me he didn't it in a convoluted way that wasn't optimal with his hand). But he had Leroy and my deck runs Argent Commanders because I don't have Leroy. Turn 8 I couldn't play Crystal Golem on top of my 2nd Argent Commander so I couldn't kill him. Had I had Leroy I'd have done more damage, and earlier, or played something alongside it, and won. It happens, but it's frustrating to lose only because you have the budget version of a deck while your opponent banked out the legendaries. I'm more annoyed because it's not a good indicator of the performance of the deck since it'll always be inferior to the version with legendaries anyway.
