All in all, could of gone much worse for ya.

I mean it is kind of annoying how very obviously the design choices were made to funnel people into spending money, but my cousin has been playing for a few months and is damn near fully stacked out without spending a dime, and if you're not trying to reach that point of equipment then the paywall is basically irrelevant and only adds some conveniences.

That's almost always going to result in someone getting crowded out (new player, quiet person in the group, etc.).

No one seems to be willing/have enough time to individually DM, but I wouldn't want a group of actual players larger than 5 anyway, so if we had like 3 people co-DMing it would be easier on people individually and would probably work out. EDIT: Also, IMO we make this a d20 Modern adaptation of TL Noir and make the players play as themselves.

It's not terrible most of the time, it can just get crowded. We've played with the same group consistently since we started, so we're fairly decent about not overstepping everything. Oh, there would definitely have to be more than one DM. And I agree that I would want to play in a group no larger than 5 edit: OMG can we please Noir it
