Man is it already Wednesday? Where does all that time go...
Also Requizen's decision to back and play World of Warcraft reminds me of a friend that I have. He was a WoW player, and everytime he "quit" he'd be back playing the game in like two to four months. He eventually stopped altogether, (probably because me and his other friends teased him about it, to this day I don't feel good about) but he certainly had quite the lengthy run with WoW.
Erhm, I'm not suggesting anything by this story. I'm just wanting to share it, because I feel that sharing stories makes this sub-forum a richer place!

It took a while for me to realize that my draw to WoW was because of the guild I was in. I never played with RL friends, and so I'll likely never have that community sense again.
There was nothing like waking up on a summer morning, hopping on vent and having some people to hang out with and talk to all day.

I played for a good solid 5 years, then quit some time during Cata and focused on LoL and SC2. But I'm really feeling the draw back and it sounds like there have been a lot of improvements since I quit. I just put time on for this month and haven't bought MoP yet, so if I end up not playing a lot this month and decide it's not happening, I'll just let it run out and consider it over. No hassle

Aren't WoW and Old Jeff the same age?

Ah man, maybe I'll do a Death Knight instead.
I'm just playing some stuff until I decide whether I want to transfer over my two mains to this new server. Wanna get a feel for the new talent system and leveling and what not.

That being said, I'm starting to regret doing a Dread Necromancer in the DnD campaign I'm in. Partly because I didn't think it all the way through (yay typical me) but also it's going to cause plenty of alignment problems later on. Also me being a catfolk makes it hard to roleplay, but that's more an issue with me and not the class.

Even though my old WoW friends still play sometimes and PoE/LoL other stuff and all still hang out on vent, I don't really do that much anymore. I find I can't 'commit' to any gaming if that makes any sense. In other words any sort of game where other people have to rely on you, I tend not to play. I guess that's just another way to say multiplayer. (Although I do still play HS so mebbe not?)
My WoW friends are mad at me too though 'cause they keep saying I ditched them for TL For those of you on my stream last night, that guy dickbutt was one of them.

That's pretty much what I do most evenings though, Soniv. Live the lonely life. Several of them are people I've met and/or living near me though, we just don't hang out or party or stuff like that so no need to physically see each other too often.

Well, all the people I used to play with resubbed and moved to this server, so I'll be playing with some IRL friends again, which really helped make the decision. If they weren't there, I don't think I would have considered it as much.

In an ideal world, I'd play a boatload of Starcraft 2. I love that game. However, a good deal of my real life friends play League of Legends, so I'm right there with them. However, a have a friend in particular who isn't into competitive on-line gaming so I don't play with him as much as I'd like to. Which is too bad, because playing Borderlands 2/Heroes of Might and Magic with him is a lot of fun.
Also part the reason why I don't end up playing games with you guys. I'm sure that I'd have a great time playing with you fine gentlemen, but that'd mean putting you guys over them which would rub some of my friends the wrong way for sure.
The tough lesson that I've learned is that you can't make everyone happy and sometimes you just need to make difficult choices. Granted, the my decisions here aren't "difficult" but I understand that I could feel this way about more serious life dilemmas.

Why would you paid server transfer so close to an expansion? Now is literally the best time to just level a new char(it apparently takes no time at all), especially if you don't even have maxed out MoP chars(the only people you'll be behind item wise like 2 hours into release, and then a few more hours later and they maybe have 1 niche item or set bonus they're hesitating to replace).

Well, I basically only played my Paladin for most of BC, all of Wrath and Cata. He has all my cool achievements/mounts/items/etc, so if I start playing again he'll remain my main. He's my sense of connection to the game, if that makes any sense.
Though if I transfer him to *bleh* Alliance, I dunno what I'll make him. Probably a Dorf.

I liked the one that made Omniknight a Goldshire Footman better.

Mhe, played TERA for like 20 minutes and was bored, just running around shooting things. Playing as a pink haired catgirl didn't remedy that.

Are you playing an archer? Archers kind of suck...

Going to be honest and say no that doesn't make sense to me since so much is account wide now(mounts, achievements, items only matter for transmog which is also account wide I think?). This is a to each his own moment though I guess. If I end up resubbing(probably won't but I've been getting the standard new expansion sales pitch) and my group of friends happened to have swapped servers I'd just roll whatever.

TERA, while gorgeous and intriguing, suffers from the horrible state of being an MMO, and is therefore murderously boring.
