What the internet has taught me(from various community members) is that if you are in anyway e-famous, you need to expect death threats. People on the net give a new meaning to absurd. For example, you can be 99% certain right now that either or both Thooorin/Regi are probably receiving these kinds of threats due to the drama going on with the SI stuff. | ||

There are tons of female gamers, I wouldn't argue against that but I wouldn't want a company to invest a bunch of money into making a game thinking the female demographic will show up and buy it. | ||

Because interesting stories can be told about a female protagonist. The whole escapism thing is such bullshit to me. If someone can't connect and empathize with a female character just because they're controlling her then that's kinda sad. I mean, females are underrepresented in Hollywood as well, so this isn't something exclusive to video games. It's a conversation worth having but at the end I usually end up feeling like both sides get caught up bickering with each other and no real progress is made. | ||
