AMD CPU's a terror to put in, the stick lever mechanism they use is uncanny to use, cuz it makes it feel like you have to use way more force than you should for a computer part. Don't build on carpet, or anywhere near carpet. Always be touching exposed metal part of case when fiddling with components. Don't worry about wiring, get it running first, fiddle with wiring afterwords. yeah they do. A LoL version of this would be fucking awesome. 6 triforce for maximum tons of damage. I loved my Fractal Define R4 for it's cable management options. So many hiding places :3 Still need to get rid of my stock Intel CPU cooler lol. Currently bumping 2manydj's, gotta be creative to mix Emerson, Lake & Palmer with Basement Jaxx or Dolly Parton with Röyksopp. + Show Spoiler + http://vimeo.com/93039571

Can't have grimdark without emo marines in robes ok On June 12 2014 05:32 onlywonderboy wrote: All this backlash about Ubisoft saying it would be too much extra work to include female assassins in the new AC game is really annoying. I agree women are underrepresented in games and more games should feature female protagonists, but it probably is a ton of extra work to make an entirely different model for a game as high fidelity as AC Unity. It's fine to critique the state of women in video games because it's not in a great spot, but I hate when people will latch onto a single game and turn it into a pariah just to make their point. I guess the better option would have just been to make the main character female, but maybe that's not the story they wanted to tell. Doing gender for gender's sake I think doesn't solve the core problem of how a lot of games have bland uninteresting caricatures of characters and Mary Sues. Some really well done female characters like FemShep show that it's not really the gender that matters. It's about having a convincing story, dialogue and fleshed out characters. The underlying gender takes a back seat to just having an interesting character to begin with. On June 12 2014 06:03 Shelke14 wrote: Alaric posts. It's pretty ironic that you reference a Bioware character for this given how most Bioware female characters are the epitome of trashy, poorly written female protagonists.

True. But fundamentally what's most important is just having an interesting character. I mean if someone made a game with female Winston Churchill I totally wouldn't care if it fundamentally was a well developed character and created a great gameplay experience. It's also more of a problem of videogames having shitty characters in general, male or otherwise. I think the last game where I really liked the characters was Witcher 2 and Mass Effect also this conversation is so much deeper than "we don't have enough time to animate shit" that I think it's kind of hilarious that people are going off the handle on this of all things.

Eurogamer wrote an article explaining why FemShep is one of the greatest video game heroines ever: Hale's incredible voice acting was just enough to make her definitively female, but because Bioware didn't intend to make her, they didn't overload her with stupid female stereotypes. http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2012-03-21-ms-effect-the-rise-of-femshep
