The longer I've spent away from home, uh... week-end in Mons, then week in Paris till the Friday where we went to Oléron, ~10 people housed by one of us in his family's vacation house. Or the two times I spent 2 weeks in Brussels. But it was to visit a friend and she spends some time on her computer too so it's not like I was cut from non-Brussels I knew. These 10 days in Oléron were a bit heavy at times, but it was more because of the general atmosphere that made me specifically wish I were in a place where I could get away from people.

I did ask him about it in this thread at one point though. I have been doing things overseas for over 10 years now. But the longest I've ever been gone before is 6 months, so I'm super excited.

I miss my bed, I miss my computer, I miss people speaking English, I miss my job. 2 weeks is way too long for me to play tourist. 1) Plan your holidays out right so it's not too long and not too short 2) This is a really 1st World Problem 3) Stop eating sandwiches and go eat some real good stuff. Maybe visit a vineyard or farm, see the coast side or a local bakery and see if you can bake some fresh bread yourself. On June 06 2014 06:45 Ketara wrote: I have news for my off topic buddies. Where about in Thailand will you be? I'll keep it in mind if I ever visit.

About halfway between Nakhon Ratchasima and Udon Thani, which you can google. I've been to both of those cities before. I was in Thailand for about a month in 2012, which I imagine is why they assigned me there. Thai food is best food. I will bring them good American culture. It will be something like this: + Show Spoiler +

I don't know much about that part of Thailand; the most I know about Northern Thailand is like Chiang Mai and the other areas near Myanmar.

Very very far away from Chiang Mai. More like Loei yes. I shouldn't be saying specifics based off a google maps link on the Peace Corps website though, far as I know when I get there they'll put me somewhere totally different. Point is, hooray. Also Moonbear please, that is not the video I posted. Why are you making me look like such a hack in the quote.

Also you know as a Mod I can see what your post looked like before you edited it right lol On June 06 2014 07:50 Sufficiency wrote: So.... FE Shadow Dragons next? Shadow Dragon is a pretty faithful remake but with a few extra features like extra classes and the ability to reclass your characters. That's good if you want to experience what the original was like but with prettier graphics and on the DS system. But the downside is that there's a lot of nonsense like WAY too many characters and the most of them being unusable because of poor stats and stat growth unless you RNG and arena abuse a lot. If you like Fire Emblem and just want to experience more go for it. But it's not one of my favourites in the series. And let's be honest, it's Fire Emblem. So it's more of the same and you play it mostly for the story.

Honest questions: 1) Can I PM someone who is currently banned? Can banned users PM other people? 2) Wave can still read this thread even though he is banned right? If so, Hi Wave! Hope you get better soon! We miss having you here! I don't know the answers to these questions hence me asking. Sorry if this isn't the right place to ask about this.

My biggest issue is that it is a DS game and it does not emulate well on my phone. On the other hand, I am also desperate because I got no GBA games left to play lol.
