Hey guys, I'm starting streaming! For those who don't know: I used to do an Elo Welfare thing on here where I would play on lower Elo accounts of TL'ers and upload my replays to try to help you guys get out of Elo Hell (and to disprove its existence.) Recently I took a 2 month hiatus from the game but I'm back and I'll be streaming! I'm going to stick to my Elo Welfare thing but I'll stream my games with commentary so ya'll can see what I do different from you to carry these games. I might also stream games from my main but let's be honest, if you wanted to watch a High Elo player - though I'm not even that anymore - you'd watch many of the famous streams with amazing quality.
Highest Elo - 2200 S2
Champs: I play all roles but I'd consider AP mid my strongest. I also have a decent Nidalee and Lee Sin.

Overall, if i were to rate his stream out of 10, it would AT LEAST be a 9.5. Would definitely recommend this stream to both new and professional players alike, seeing as you can never learn enough from this tap of overflowing knowledge.

I like this stream alot, especially ELO welfare, its good to see how a better player plays against 1200-1400's, I apply this to my own play alot as I am trying to get an account out of the 13/1400's and even if I win my lane every game I cant always carry hard enough, so its very instructional.

Thank you. This is my first time streaming so I'm still trying to get better at commentating while still focusing and playing well. I think I had some okay things to say last game but it did cause me to make some dumb mistakes.

Shake you should play Anininivia. The bird is the word. Also you should build warmog's tear on Anininivia so your egg is never cracked before it hatches, and you can get up and close and make the most out of that aoe stun you get.

JK! Its great, good job talking and playing at the same time.
I was noticing that you were pushing Ahri all the way to turret and really getting out there in lane (also no side wards). I always worry a ton about getting ganked even if I am wrecking my lane. Were you only doing that because your team had total control and your jungle was so much stronger than theirs or do you just go for it. Watching high level tops play they always end up extending wayyyy far and running around past T1, they die to big ganks sometimes and just seem to take it in stride. If I try to play like that I get 4 manned every time @ 1400 ELO. Is this something I just cant do at this ELO as my teammates dont have good enough map awareness to take objectives when they realize everyone is going top/mid, or am I bad/doing something wrong.

Flat AD reds, armor yellows, flat mr blues, flat AD quints.
You can also do Apen runes but the flat AD helped me own that Kennen early.

Eh it's been somewhat stable since then. I'm mostly having some problems with xsplit, specifically my sound going to shit and my music making helicopter noises every once in a while.

My issue is I can't watch streams that are higher than 360p without it once in a while dying for a few seconds. Which is unfortunate during teamfights. But I still try to watch. :D

HoMM 3 > 2. 2 Had fantastic soundtrack that made you feel like you were controlling armies in a fairy tale, sure, but HoMM 3 had the right balance between fantastic storyline with a huge boost to the gameplay and ability to be far more strategic.

Sion freefarmed top against our Teemo, lost 2 turrets in like 15 min. They realised I was the only one who could fight on our team so they just splitpush to win because no one could 1v1 or 2v2....hell even endgame I fended off a Mundo and Graves on my OWN taking them both to 25% so they could 4v3 at top but they lost the fight.

Honestly with that much farm it probably comes down to how well you can position. Trist range is insane so if you're farmed and can micro perfectly then 1v5ing shouldn't be too far from reality. Just keep practicing man! You'll be able to carry your friends hardcore eventually.

Yeah I've been hovering at +80 when I stream during my regular time, it's great. I've only known of being ghosted twice by 2 different people but other than that I don't really feel it. I'm just glad my stream is getting a lot of community love <3

I watched your TF mid against a Leblanc yesterday and, as a very mediocre player that plays LB once in a while, I was amazed at how well you controlled that matchup and frequently put yourself in good positions. Unfortunately, watching that Leblanc player reminded me a lot of how I play - very sloppy and poor timing.
What makes your stream so amazing is that you are able to play well while talking about your play at the same time. Really opens up the game for me. Thanks again!

Hey guys, in December I built my first computer. It worked out great until now. About every 10 minutes everything on my computer will cease to work and no commands work (such as ctrl + alt + delete) for about a minute and then everything starts to work again and the commands that I issued while it was froze instantly work. If I have music playing the it'll pause and pick up where it left off. When this freeze occurs I can hear my computer get a bit loud.
I fear it might be a CPU problem but I'm not sure.
My specs are: Windows 7 64bit
8gb RAM
AMD 6570

yea sounds like a CPU problem. for some reason its getting overloaded and takes time to process everything then goes back to normal
this happened to my computer too but not that degree, it randomly got a lot shittier and i had to fiddle with some options on the client to be able to play LoL at decent FPS again zz

Most likely not a HW problem. Check if you have a virus/malware. Also check if you might have changed any Win7 settings (things like updating, security, power saving mode). Perhaps you have another program running that's doing something wonky.
Does this behaviour occur even when you turn on your comp and let it sit idle?

I reformatted and I still get this so it's not a virus or software problem. I get it even if the computer is idle but it occurs more frequently if I have a lot of programs running.

Ok well reformatting takes care of a lot of probs.
Run the event viewer by typing eventvwr in the search window after one of these episodes where things freeze. Critical errors, if any, will be red. Also run a memtest to check the state of your ram. Search memtest to download it, it's free.

Don't get critical errors but after each of these freezes I get.

Run the resource monitor and see if the usage of anything spikes when the issue occurs. Are you running with a SSD? I had similar issues with my computer (except it ended in bluescreen), and it was fixed once I removed the SSD and installed windows on a different drive.
Run the windows memory test (it's included in windows 7, just type "memory test" into the search box in the control panel) and see if any errors pop up -- you can also try running on just one stick of RAM to identify memory issues. It doesn't sound like you're overheating (44 ain't great, but it's not danger zone. if it ever gets above 85 or so with a full load you might want to get worried), but it couldn't hurt to buy a can of compressed air and blow all of the dust out of the inside of the computer.
Also, the guys on the tech support forum here on TL are super helpful, feel free to hit it up if you're still unsure what your problem is.

Try googling the error. I had a similar one that required me to download a certain file and place it in the windows folder because it was deleted for some reason. Mine was also stream related.

Ran memory test and had no problems. CPU and Disk spike up to 100% whenever this occurs in Resource Manager :/

My best guess would be that it's a hard drive issue. It sounds like it's having a hard time writing to disk in more than one location, and if it can run memory test without incident when the problem is so frequent I don't think the problem is your RAM (though I would recommend running memtest 86+ for a full pass to double-check). I can't imagine it being a software problem if the issue has gotten worse over time.
Try running chkdsk following the instructions here, see if that turns anything up.

Alright running chksdk, thanks. I can't run memtest because I don't have a way to boot the ISO atm. I've also defragmented my drive and I haven't froze in a long time....

wuaueng.dll is a module related to the Windows Update process, so there's one place to start looking at. The .edb file stores info related to what updates you have on your comp.
Silly question: how much space do you have left on C:\ ?
Check your update settings. Maybe there's something set incorrectly?
Check your C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\DataStore directory - what's in it and how much space does it take up?
If everything looks fine, try this from microsoft.com:
type cmd and press enter
type net stop wuauserv and press enter
rename c:\windows\SoftwareDistribution softwaredistribution.old and press enter
type net start wuauserv and press enter
type exit and press enter
Your new C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\DataStore folder should be much smaller.
You may also have to restart your comp.

After about a 3 hour long chkdsk the problem still persists...
I have 887GB left on C (out of 931)
There isn't really anything in datastore, just a folder with 14 logs.
When I try to do "net stop wuauserv" I get a "system error 5 has occured" and "acess denied"

I'm out of ideas. Only thing i can think of is to install win7 on a usb stick and boot from that and see if your comp is stable. However i'm not sure windows lets you run from a usb stick like linux does, so this may not even be possible.

It sucks but it's not that surprising, HDDs have by far the highest/fastest failure rates of all hardware, one of the other huge upsides of SSDs. Glad you had a new one handy to install on though and didn't have to wait for shipping.

just put your media player on your 2nd monitor and then add that screen region to your xsplit presentation.

What's weird is if I try to do that it selects the entire iTunes.exe unless I click on my desktop and drag a window around it but then it has extra things I don't need.
edit: Switching to itunes miniplayer worked.

I don't know if it's a bug though. I misstepped at Red so it reset. It should releash once you hit it again though, not run ALL the way back to spawn and heal up. Not sure what causes that.

In the last play of your latest LS montage (the #4), there's something I didn't get. After killing Vayne, you're near minions and Irelia, with Zyra at your left. You miss a Sonic Wave on Zyra (we clearly see the animation of the skillshot going to her and stopping short), but then you start running to her... and Resonating Strike back to Irelia (it's that skill's animation at least, and your only way to dash directly to an enemy). Since it's not a pass-through skillshot, what happened?

If you hit something that's literally right next to you then the animation will continue for some odd reason. It happens all the time when you're ganking and shoot and a Q when you're standing by a creep and your Q tags the creep instead of the champion.

i sometimes watch on my crappy laptop and i have to lower the stream quality to 360p on all streams for it not to stutter.

Ugh, some neckbeard is DDOSing me because my mods and I kept banning him from chat. He said something about how my ip is static so i can't get proxies? Gonna go do some research.

Proxy servers usually cost money, but you would need to get your IP changed first if he knows it, then use proxy servers so he can't find it again.

My last pick locked in top lane Yi when I had a pick over him and I picked Sona at the last second. Then I realized how little interest I have in solo queue and went to play SC2. I wasn't the Kass though lol. I wouldn't have dodge because of a counter pick, especially since you kinda expect that when picking Kass.
