I had low hopes, but then I realized Creator advanced #1 (6-1) in his Wardi Korean Royale 3 group over players like Reynor herO and Solar, and got 2nd place in the tournament only to Dark. In G2, i was worried when 1/3 of his army got stasis'd, and his army supply was ~10 behind. But suddenly, Creator's army got a 10 supply lead WHILE 1/3 of his army wasn't fighting?? How does that happen??? Both G1 and G2 were such confident strong wins by Creator. I'm so hyped!!! Let's see now if DRG can upset Dark again, but it's possible Creator can beat Dark too if he's playing like this. | ||

Playing protoss like playing mech, holy shit chills!! That was so cool! How often do you see an early Protoss push actually win, and not only that but ROLL the zerg. And how often does it include such heavy amounts of sentries. That was so fucking cool, this is 2022 Creator, LET'S FUCKING GO!!! | ||

He has beaten Maru 2-0 (2-1?) in GSL group before, back in 2022 when he made that insane run to the Finals vs Rogue. It's possible he can beat Maru, especially if Maru isn't caring too much about GSL. | ||

I guess the open qualifiers is possible though especially if he keeps this up, the top 16 players won't be there, but solid players like Classic and Stats still will be. | ||

It did look like he was very close to breaking him, but he probably should have made a less risky play, especially when down a game already. Either expand, or get some tech, or harass elsewhere while applying pressure. You can't just focus on a single thing at a time. Almost a scenario where a guy is playing too much GM Ladder / ESL weekly where that play works almost every time, but doesn't in a GSL scenario where people are upping their level. | ||

If it counts to you, don't forget he went 2-4 vs Rogue who is a monster at Bo7 and when PvZ was still hard, and G1 he likely would have won if the proxy hatch died which only had like 15 hp left or something. He lost the first 3 games but then won 2 after that, including a convincing straight up macro game. However, he is quite unpredictable and inconsistent indeed... But today's showing was really good, perhaps he can do it this season. | ||

It feels we might have epic Ro4 into underwhelming finals, which is totally unlike GSL! | ||
