Also, Shin might be the only Zerg that advance into the Ro8, even better.

In 2016 there was a season with a zero Zerg in ro8 GSL, while there was a ZvZ final in SSL at the same time. Dark's ro16 curse stays around

Holy F that was legit the best and most entertaining PvZ I've seen in several years, other than maybe Rogue vs Creator. But if you want 3 solid macro games with action all game then watch Stats vs Dark.

So I assume he already knows he won't be able to make it? (Buuuut he must be pretty certain that he can make it to the EWC, otherwise Talon wouldn't have picked him up. Kinda weird)

I love Tasteless too, but yeah Gemini absolutely killed it and he and State have pretty good chemistry as a combination as well, plus a bit more technical knowledge too.

(Buuuut he must be pretty certain that he can make it to the EWC, otherwise Talon wouldn't have picked him up. Kinda weird) IIRC in Classic's last year before military service, he had to get special permission to travel abroad for tournaments. As a result Classic missed Katowice in 2019 but was cleared for Blizzcon. Maybe Dark knows it's too short notice/StarsWars is too small for him to get an exemption.

On the other hand, when it really mattered, Classic pulled off the most perfect FFs one could ask for! HELL YEA such epic games, what a day of GSL! Really enjoyed the casting chemistry too ![]()

However history tells us Protoss only performs well when the “prize pool” is low. (Super tournament days)

The games were entertaining (because of sloppiness and dubious decisions) but I'd hardly call them peak. Was hard to shake the feeling that Dark was trying to play down and 'style' on him. When he looks dominant it's usually pretty scrappy and compact so it's weird to see the big tech switches. Also the one game refusal to build hydras or AA was questionable. Watching almost a dozen infestors die with no other units was pretty painful. Other than that Bunny had an insanely brutal day.
