That's what he needed to do vs Rogue on that map. Yeah Serral and Rogue played excellent muta games on Romanticide

That map is made for multipronged aggression, Mutalisks fit the bill perfectly for Zerg in that match up.

Yeah Tasteless thinking Maru would make a switch to mech on romanticide when it was obvious it was going to be the Cure double factory widow mine harass thing was pretty telling. Since it was mostly used by Cure and Koreans against top foreign zergs Reynor and Serral in international tournaments, he did not see it. The commentary is still very enjoyable though.

The top advancement in group B faces Trap, and bottom advancement faces Zest. sOs is never gonna beat Trap, so that's an auto loss in Ro8, but he can definitely beat Zest. sOs wants to advance 2nd. He beat RagnaroK in code A very convincingly, so he could potentially beat Solar the same way. Maybe sOs was holding back against Dream for that exact reason, so if he gets a rematch against a Terran, he can up his game, slay, and get a preferred Ro8 opponent. It's just a theory tho, it's very risky, but could be smart if it's actually intentional. Solar is significantly better than Ragnarok. If sOs is banking on him defeating Solar because he beat Ragnarok then he is underestimating Solar and overestimating himself. Perhaps sOs has something prepared though because he knew Maru would defeat Solar and that Solar would be his opponent in either the final match or loser's match. But that doesn't make a lot of sense considering his game plan would be much simpler if he had assumed he would only be playing vs Terran today.

That game with the wall vs solar made me literally laugh continuously at how ridiculous it was. I had never laughed at a game but I was laughing from start to finish. On the other hand, the last game, and in general all games or sOs vs Dream made me angry. I can't believe how pathetic that was I'm literally fumming. I'm a nobody and a terrible player and I could have won that game vs dream in the situation. Just don't have a colossus hitting a freaking gas and he would have won. Or then instead of suiciding zealots harassing when your opponent has 40 SC to your 65, and you barely have any army, just warp them on your base. Or warp more than one freaking shield battery on your third/fourth/natural when you are barely holding on and have 1500 minerals in the bank. Or recall your probes to another base when you see you won't be able to defend it and you know the enemy has no SCV. Those are at least 5 different ways sOs could have won that last game, what a pathetic showing. Thank God I'm not a caster or I would have snapped and bashed him on air. Look how many probes dying to mines he could never defend, and how he didn't even bother to move away probes when he know there were mines still in the mineral line and they would recharge before he got detection. I was rooting so much for him but but a diamond would have played a better PVT, so sad.
