I'd argue the reaper nerf came also because every TvT GAME (not series) featured a proxy 2 rax reaper, if not two

That was the main reason I wasn't sad to see it nerfed.

Only Byun was able to make Reapers work against Zerg that way but TvT was totally dominated by that unit, not a worthwhile trade off.
