Serral definitely should have won easier, he was playing so clean until he over committed. Still a fun game that really showed the mid game vs late game focus of each player! But yeah, once Serral had a good viper count I felt it was a bit of an extended death animation for soO even if supply was kinda close

Even lurker spines can go across cliff levels and space platforms. It's no big challenge for zerg tech.

I'm not as active in playing and watching as I used to be. But didn't soO just gift that? He took out so much of Serral's army after Serral overcommited in soO's main.

Then he did the same. I think he did a lot of damage and could have pulled out and it would be smooth sailing from there.

Great game, but I feel like if Serral tightens up a bit, it won't get that close again. I like his gameplan so far, he was just a bit sloppy.

Yeah, this first game was fairly sloppy all things considered. Serral did tweet about jetlag yesterday after all.
