Missed it live and from previous experiences I haven’t found Afreeca easy to navigate Should try it again and report any problem so we can help. Better than ever now, Afreeca recently upgraded their content delivery provider to push streams smoothly to all corners of the world. Stream is now live at https://play.afreecatv.com/gslenglish

Let alone the players not being disturbed, this way is better for me too since it's on after I'm home from work so I can actually watch. Also it's much more organized. Back in the day when SPOTV streamed their qualifiers for every event, you'd still miss out on some qualification matches and have huge amounts of downtime from waiting for certain matches, since all the brackets move at completely different speeds. There were instances of players waiting for literal hours to play their matches but had to wait because the stream was not ready.

There was zero chance that they'd implement a balance patch before the GSL finals. For the players that didn't qualify day 1, the groups being roughly even on day 2 is infinitely more significant than balance.

Maybe instead of fixing it they ended up changing what the problem was, but it needed addressing even before that patch. Although given not as much complaining happened on last patch it seems people's perception of a matchup being broken stems from how ugly the games look, not how favoured one race is. Just like the raven anti-armour missile.
