Yeah but he plays Zerg and he's playing against Zest. Lock it in.

1-1 now. I sense dejavu.

Sortof just needs to ling flood. Literally never fails.

From the way people are complaining, Nydus literally never fails.

Zest won vs the nydus build twice this week, out of 2.

But the forums told me that Nydus wins 100% of the time, the Zerg just drops it right by the robo and instawins

The 100% winrate was actually true until recently though. The entire time since 4.0 I was asking people to show me a game where nydus fails and no one did.

Is it not? A single pro game where someone held it would have disproven my point yet not one nerd on TL or Reddit could show me one

It's bizarre now a build could literally never lose in a pro game and people still argued that it was fine. Do you assume it lost only when no one's watching?

I don’t care much about the build (if it’s too strong or whatever), but the win rate of the build isn’t the whole story.
If it isn’t played that much in spite of a good win rate that means that the conditions don’t always favor such a build.
Therefore, its win rate doesn’t mean that much.

Show me a pro game where a Terran gets more than 10 ghosts and loses vs. a Zerg (barring any sort of inherent disadvantage, like failed proxy rax). Same question, pretty much.

you are right, the build was impossible to beat up until 2 weeks ago when it started losing out of the blue. Obviously ninja patched.

So any sort of inherent disadvantage excludes any game in which the Terran player hasn't significantly outplayed the Zerg until ghosts/ravens (being even or down 1 base that late in the game requires the Terran player playing like a god)?

In most Maru games that go that late, he's secured himself an economy that Terran is not supposed to be able to get. That puts the Zerg at an inherent disadvantage, so they don't count.

I could argue that in every game he wins late he secured himself an advantage earlier in the game and thus the games don't count.
Same argumentation for why the games where Zerg won late apparently don't count.

barring any sort of inherent disadvantage, like failed proxy rax

So any sort of inherent disadvantage excludes any game in which the Terran player hasn't significantly outplayed the Zerg until ghosts/ravens (being even or down 1 base that late in the game requires the Terran player playing like a god)?

not necessarily, but it certainly excludes games where Terran dies to ravager bust and then drags their corpse for next 15 minutes, if you catch my drift
