The problem is with the maps in this case. Ascension, Odyssey, Acolyte and (to some extent) Mech Depot are all too big and spread out to play late game TvZ with any comfort. Abyssal Reef and Newkirk would have been fine, but TY opted to have them go last for some reason. Also on Acolyte TY got a bit unlucky with his timing, if his massive drop had arrived earlier he could have made sure no corruptors ever see the light of day, and then that drop would have probably been game-winning. Alternatively, had he not gone for the drop at all, he would have saved some of his bases. | ||
