Tasteless and Artosis are spending too much time giggling over inside jokes; this is a shame because when they don't act this way they are far and away the best engilsh Sc2 broadcasters on planet earth by a country mile. They were still best in the business this morning but only by a few nanometers rather than a country mile. | ||

did i say i hated anything? laughter content level is a matter of degree. if a caster laughs into a microphone non-stop for 12 minutes during teh entire game that's bad. if a caster is flat and monotone for 12 straight minutes that is not good either. Usually, Tastosis strikes a great balance between seriousness and silliness. For me, this morning's balance of the 2 was less than great. | ||

the games vs jjakji seriously he made jjakji look like a full 1k mmr below him the games vs maru he made zerg seem unbeatable: just a reminder about the newkirk game, maru got 12-15 drones from 4 hellions + a reaper which put solar down at 28-30 drones with his only structures being a pool and a gas oh and he had just made safety lings, which didnt keep him safe what an impressive game | ||

I turned off the stream in Game 1 Solar vs. Maru when Solar blow his lead by repeatedly suiciding lings and 1A'ing his entire army to deal with light harass, going from 180ish supply plus 2.5K/1K in the bank vs. a 120ish supply and completely broke Maru, to 10-20 supply behind while down in drones with no more money in the bank. And he still won... gotta catch the games when the VODs are up. | ||

Maru was all but dead during so many points during the late game, so frustrating to see Solar blow his lead like that. Maru had like 2 tanks + a thor + lots of hellions, one ultra or a few spines instead of a billion lings would have done wonders guarding his completely undefended bases. Also, sending his entire 30+ curruptor army to deal with 4 banshees, while getting his broodlords sniped, only to have the banshees run away... ugh, this game was a mess. | ||
