I felt like those games were entertaining because of the new meta INno introduced, but I hope future TvZs will be more interesting than building literally 3 army units all game (hellion/cyclone/tank).
Also: Poor Dark =(. He must have been so excited to finally go baneling drops against zero Terran AA only to get supply blocked and bopped against the first push.

I was still a bit skeptical about a potential INno back in scary form... He used to be bad in TvP in LotV, but he managed to 3-0 Trust (not a top tier protoss but it's still 3-0 in a "bad" matchup for him). He qualified from the group stage and managed to take out Dark as well?? 3-2 is close but Dark is top 2 ZvT along with probably ByuL...
Will try to watch the vods, hopefully there are not too many mech games.

I spoiled myself a bit and read the TL article and I've read the words cyclone-hellbat and mech too many times indeed :D.

Thought Dark was going to win in a fairly close series after watching that first game on Overgrowth. Didn't expect Innovation to mech all 5 games.

just watched the games, and while inno is a god why did dark never build mutas? i mean game 3 and 5 sure i get it bad build imo and was way to far behind but in game 2 there was a time after the first push where he couldve gone mutas instead of more roach hydra. sure inno was scanning and wouldve seen spire but it wouldve made inno have to react and play safer not able to move out at will.
did dark just have tunnel vision spamming roaches, we have all been there, but at least one game go mutas.
