I didn't mind them in the past but Tastosis are getting worse. And I'm not interested in hearing them talk about sOs for 90 minutes.
I'd still take them over Wolf, but yea they both seem better when paired with someone else, and especially Rapid has brought so much energy to the casts lately I kinda miss him every time he doesn't cast, which is a good sign

To be fair he got better lately
At least he's still trying.
Honestly Wolf says wrong and silly things a lot but that's half the fun, and I still like it when he casts.
I saw that, but I don't think that is enough to destroy LoL at this point this is one of their more stupid statements but even then I doubt the Korean scene (the one I care about imploding) cares at all, the whole OGN vs eSportsTV debacle had much more potential (in Korea atleast) but I don't think that will work out either

League will continue going strong. Riot seems to do stupid shit every week lately but nothing will come of any of it.

That and the ability to shade wherever you want and kill 20 probes unless the other guy also has adepts

Woah there buddy, you take that back! Late No Wrist Jürgen Mvp was extremely fun to watch, and dominating everyone with Mechanics Mvp was also pretty cool

That is if Mvp had no GSLs :D
If he had no GSLs and hadn't defined the play of his race for years, maybe they could be somewhat similar but I'd say they're still completely different.

I guess she got super famous for pretty much nothing so she has to be relatively clever.
She also looks pretty nice naked :D and does many nsfw stuff very well.
I'll announce my mom watched this show on a Sunday once like back2back many episodes and one of them had Kim K and her Mom discussing how many marble stone tiles they were going to buy for the bathroom and the bill was like $5million. If it wasn't for Kylie being shown in the next season i would have died!

She is defiently the most "NaTuRal beauty" out of them all though, she is a Tom boy to iirc but Yeah she Has Less curves than an ironing board. Still would though plus in fairness probably would enjoy her company more than the others.

Erm. I don't think he has really innovated jack in LotV.
When I mean "innovated" his plays are very different from the norm. He has shown us double collosi in PvP, eco cheese against hyun at iem and stats at proleague round 2 finals. Storm drops vs zest at round 3 finals when the meta was(and still is) mass adepts. Voidray sentry vs TY at round 3 finals. the list goes on. Please give me any player who is experimental and varied as sOs is. Even if he was never the one to make teh builds, he was always the pioneer in terms of trying to make it work at offline matches so how did he not innovate jack s***?

still the most innovative player to watch nowadays other than maybe myungsik
Even if he was never the one to make teh builds, he was always the pioneer in terms of trying to make it work at offline matches so how did he not innovate jack s***?
that's still Dark
Last time I checked Dark plays really different in only one matchup-- which is impressive, but not as all around

I'm pretty sure a ton of his matches in HotS were also total shit gameplay wise.
U just salty cuz sOs makes this work. Seriously gameplay was shit? And zest's play is marvelous as always? Pls tell me how zest play so much better than sOs that zest is godly and sOs is not.
They're completely different players. Zest is just a better standard macro player, not that that matters.
I am just asking why elentos is hating on sOs so much today. I thought elentos still repected sOs as a good player
I'm not saying sOs isn't good. That would be stupid. I'm saying his games aren't enjoyable for me. Most of them anyway.
I am sorry but I was triggered by the comment that you thought most of his games at elast were "total shit". Would you be calm if I said the same thing for zest? Cuz I don't find his games enjoyable but I don't say they are total shit most of the time. That's just unnecessarily rude.
I probably wouldn't give a shit honestly. And he does have a lot of shitty games, too.

I don't know about ZvP, but I still don't see anyone really following what dark's doing in ZvT. He just does things better and plays late game really well. I don't think we can say he laid the foundation so far

The fact that he does standard play but better, kinda shows that, because standard play was based off of what he was doing, thats literally what laying the foundation means

Good old times yo Makes me miss Rain even more
Makes me miss metagaming all Terrans in Plat so hard.
Myungsik's building placement in this match reminds me of that time in war3 where Moon for a few weeks decided making any buildings whatsoever in your own base is overrated

This guy just pick abusive builds over and over. If there were only players like this, I would have quit watching competitive games for a long time.

Probably. It's pretty terrible unless both players survive the mass adept phase. And that surely never happens.
...ok, I'll reitre in my angle now and cry alone...
You could try to argue why you like it first I think it has regressed in entertainment value since mass adepts became a thing that happens every game. So like the other Protoss match-ups actually. TvP also has a hard time producing good games atm.
After a pretty crap day at work, this really made me chuckle. Thank you
OT: I'm disappointed GuMigod lost to Myungsik; but now it seems that his success recently isn't just because of the stupid gun (that or he's learned to wield it for maximum effect)
Personally, I'm pleased Myungsik won: - Gumiho is a gimmicky player playing a race that does not need to rely on gimmicks to win - Gumiho knocked out Classic (one of the more well-balanced Protoss player who mixes gimmicky and standard plays well, and who had been in the running for double Starleagues) - Myungsik, although gimmicky, plays a race that by nature relies heavily on gimmicks
(Yes, I'm not a fan of Gumiho. The main reason why he's on the rise, I feel, is due to the current LoTV meta favouring abusive gimmicky plays. Entertaining and innovative he may be, but a top Terran he is not.)

What?
It's very simple. Let me use a footballing analogy. On one side, there is a less skilful team like Italy that has to rely more on physicality, tactical fouls and the occasional dirty plays to win (Protoss). On the other side, there is a team brimming with talent and skills like Brazil (Terran), and yet the coach decides to play the team using the style of a Protoss (Gumiho).
Italy and Brazil are both capable of winning the World Cup, provided they play according to their strengths.
Not a very exact equivalent, but that's the rough logic.
(Afterthought: Maybe I got the countries-race in reverse order, since Brazil-Protoss has been winning more tourneys.)

Every player has to play to their own strengths as well as the strengths of their race. That's what both GuMiho and MyuNgSiK are doing. Every Starcraft player is different. There are Protoss players who don't cheese (or "rely on gimmicks") a lot (Zest or Rain from the past come to mind) if at all, and then there is someone like MyuNgSiK who in the eyes of some people only does that.
Everyone has to do what works for them to be successful, and I don't see why it's okay if one player does it but not the other just because they play a different race. Not to mention, GuMiho is not a gimmicky player in TvT or TvZ at all, he plays quite standard most of the time, except in TvP. But if you watch other top Terrans recently, you will see a ton of gimmicky shit in TvP, so it's not like GuMiho is actually falling out of the norm there.

I was just using a simple analogy. Of course, in actual fact, football teams aren't that one-dimensional. Italy has great technical ability too, and can play a patient, positional and defensive game (somewhat like macro Toss ala Zest and Rain).
Yes, players should play to their strengths, and pick a race that suits their strengths. In my mind, Gumiho fits more in the Protoss mould. Just as Classic probably realised early on in SC2. Flash? Arguably Protoss would've fit him better too - he can turtle and macro up, and fall back to his early cheesy ways if he wish. (In general, I feel Profoss is strong early and late game - hence a player can be successful either by being gimmicky ala sOs or solid ala Zest. Whereas Terran is stronger at mid game in most matchups - which is arguably where Maru and Inno shines.)
I just don't see Gumiho ever becoming a Top Terran and winning tourneys. He probably might not be a champion had he switched to Protoss anyway, but he would've achieved more and gone deeper (as Myungsik and Patience has).
Just a random musing I have, don't mean to start a shitstorm.

He originally played Random professionally and then decided that Terran was the race that played the most to his strengths. Probably because he is one of the best multitaskers in the game.
Besides, he's had multiple high tournament finishes in the past and was always a beast in teamleague play. He just never managed to make the final step and win an individual tournament. But I doubt if he picked Protoss back in Wings he would have won GSL in 2012 instead of going out in the semifinals.

I didn't watch as much in the early years. But yes, I vaguely recall him having some sick Maru-esque drop plays.
Maybe the meta has changed somewhat in LoTV too, favouring stronger Terran early game strats (which Gumiho adapted better than Maru). Still, I feel that Gumiho needs to strengthen up his mid game play to be a serious contender (like TY and Byun), which entails to cutting back on gimmicks.

Terrans in general are playing their TvP a bit more gimmicky these days. Things we've seen recently:
TY - proxy mine drop into 1-1-1 with cyclones & liberators - upgraded cyclone push/contain
INnoVation - mech - double factory on 1 base
I think that's just kinda the direction it's going atm at least for that one match-up. I don't really recall GuMiho doing too many crazy things in TvT or TvZ, and his mid-game in those looks pretty good most of the time.

Inno's early game strats are just bad lol... or maybe it's the execution

I think it's more about the execution. Like when he did his mech build he had a marine, a widow mine and a cyclone. When Stats's regularly timed oracle arrived only the marine was anywhere near Inno's base. When he did the 2 factory push he dropped a MULE instead of saving up energy for scanning observers (although Trust did a great job microing against the cyclones).
