Super taking on a fan question about how he looks like Stork. He acknowledges the similarities and says it's an honor. Says Stork was better looking in his prime, but now he has the upper hand :D
Dark saying he thinks he'll win both leagues this season. Everyone in the selection pool seems about the same, so he'll focus on ruining everyone else's groups rather than giving himself an advantage.

Viewer question for TY is about a meme where he becomes the foreign player "John Sun" (?????) when he's playing poorly. TY admits he's not doing so great right now.

On paper, Samsung should be doing well but somehow, they keep flopping like SKT
ByuN admits that he's deserving of receiving the "least cleanly/bathes the least" award, because it's true. The conversation suggests that he might not even bathe once a week o_O

Maybe they mean Johnson, like a generic white guy last name

Cure says he picked Trust because his teammates told him he would be the easiest. Trust firing back and saying Cure was one of his most desired opponents as well, saying this is the easiest group already.
Stats trying to get into the act. He can't use his swaps on groups that don't involve him, and he needs Dark's power to prevent teamkills for his teammates.

He did pick Trust first didn't he? Trust vetoed.
I wasn't there at the start so probably. Still, pick someone you don't mind playing and then you swap Trust for the worst of the 3... I guess you don't play him first that way but the advantage isn't worth forcing you to swap with one specific player

you can veto the swap; Dark wanted Trust to waste it

I'm saying don't pick TY once you have forced the veto from Trust

seems like it wasn't really a "conspiracy," more that Solar realized what Dark's plan was, and Dark probably just confirmed it when he asked in the bathroom

Having Trust be your first opponent is a lot better than just having him in your group

Stats didn't use his swap? Aww. He could have gotten Zest out of the inevitable team kill. When I saw Dark picked TY I was immediately sure he was gonna do a swap.
Why didn't Stats swap? His group looked pretty bad for him. His worst match up is PvT by far (GuMiho pretty solid in this match up, and Bomber just beat him in the GSL qualifiers). Dear isn't exactly a weak PvP opponent either.

Is it so much better that it justifies not being able to swap Zest?

Group D looks pretty tame for TY honestly.
Swaps have to include a player from their group. Stats was fine with his group and couldn't help Group A

Oh, okay, so not GSL style where you can swap whoever you please.

I don't think he's very concerned about Zest's PvZ atm
Also I think he picked TY because TY was just about the only player in the Nexon Arena who wouldn't use his veto there.
Now this is dark's plan: in this Group A, he will beat Trust, and he predict Zest beating Alive, then he will meet Zest in the winner group, and Zest will lose for his shitty PvZ, so Dark can get out in first place.
Well play sir well play
and besides, I really don't know why Alive would have picked Zest, you gotta pick someone who can benefit yourself, in what way could he be benefited by picking Zest? with Zest's PvT?
or maybe he wanted to just create a group of death. But Dark and Zest have been in the WCS final already, winning or not they will still be there. and what will be left for Alive?

Don't think he can claim that much. Zest only got in the group through sheer luck. His plan consisted of getting Trust first up which he achieved.

Keep in mind he was originally picked by TY, so maybe he wanted to annoy TY with the Zest pick. Or he wanted to make the ultimate group of death.
Why would he do that? To make sure nobody ever forgot about him again.

It'll depend on the new zerg-buffing patch. if it works so well that a Terran can not punish him, then I don't think a protoss can punish him either, especially that protoss is Zest.
That's Champion's privilege, live with that .
And speaking of champion's privilege, I remember that Zest is a Champion too, and he's also a drama queen. So when it comes to GSL group seletion. I expect a big scene, some Shakespeare or Vengeance stuff will be great

something like "If I can't win it, then no one can"? these Korean progammers are so childish

I thought Alive's pick was rather silly too. Having Dark, TY and Zest means preparing for 3 different matchups. Either he is really confident of his TvP (he toyed with picking Classic first), meta-preempting the swaps in some way, hates the guts of KT and SKT or just went YOLO.

Or it means you don't have to prepare because even if you do you probably lose!

Looks good for the Zergs. By good I mean they'll be survived by Dark in the ro8. Solar is dehd -. -
Also looks decent for my old-school Terran bros Bomber, ByuN and Gumiho. At least 1 should make the ro8, 2/3 is reasonable, doubtful all 3 make it.
Idk, TvP has always been Byun's weakest matchup, and super is in good form. Hopefully he beats one of the toss, since I think it's very likely he takes out solar
