Nice! Yeah they go on for so long T_T and i can't do PL anymore as i go to bed on weekends at like 6am and there is no way i can get up by 10am to do PL. Reason no one has seem me lately i guess

I think he can still do it, but you're right, and there is a slight possibility Zest underprepared for PvZ/Solar because he thought he would win vs MC and play Gumiho in the winners

Zest really seems to favor oracle play in ZvP right now, don't know how I feel about this. I think glaives openers and phoenix openers are far more solid.

I can't for the life of me understand why you'd go oracle instead of glaives when you want to go blink in the midgame. Adepts are so much more broken than oracles.

yeah on Frost he could hold with muta ling because the map is far more open, but here that style just doesn't cut it since the terrain is so FF abusable

Honestly I think on Frost Zest screwed up his positioning. I think he could have taken a better fight at Solar's 3rd than the one he took. Also he literally stopped microing every unit during that fight on Frost after the initial force fields.

On the one hand, I love watching Zest play vs MC. On the other, I'm not sure whom to root for when it's one my favorite players against the ace from my favorite team...

Stats has played exactly 1 ace match per year since like 2012.
They should fuse Zest and Stats to create the ultimate, invincible Protoss who dominates every matchup.
I mean seriously Stats seems to have way more of a clue of what to do in PvZ, it doesn't even make sense considering they're in the same practice environment and stuff.

Oh I missed this then. He didnt built probes for quite a while when he was on 3 bases. He probably started building probes at a later point again. His 3rd was a lot faster than Zest's, but Zest was ahead in workers all the time. Even before the dt attack.

Yeah, the game just got manlier for the Swarm. Pretty much none of them got easy groups.
If Taeja is serious I expect only Dark is going to the ro16. ByuL might have a shot since his group is slightly easier than the rest, but he's been mediocre for quite some time so maybe not even that.

He kinda needed to break Zest with his first push through the middle. Zest got his triple pylon and sentrys there in time though. After that Zest put down 3 robos and was looking prettu safe imo, even when he lost his 4th.
