Although i started watching sc2 with the very first videos of Pomf&Thud on youtube back in the day i always preferred the usual suspects of the english casting crew. You can't miss the french cast of one of their live event though like Iron Squid, they're great for the most part I am curious, is there some kind of consensus about which? For example, Wolf gets sometime some flak because of his very poor calls.

It's cool when one player doesn't get a massive advantage or outright win through the opening builds.

Perhaps it's just the fact that I am not used to them / too used to the antics of the english speaking casters, but it really feels fresh No. I tried them and it was pretty bad. They spoke some weird language, I did not understand a word ...

Nah i'm not this guy that hates on poor calls :p although it obviously looks dumb when it happens My issue is mostly about the type of jokes or the way they hype the games, just preference. I watch the english casts even if its the ogaming guys i actually like that are casting anyway, its all good

Assuming you mean not so liked french casters? IMO the best are Imre and Funka, followed by koka and yogo. Pomf and thud can be great when they know their stuff but in lotv they have seemed really lost to me tbh (busy doing marketing and stuff afaik). Tlk, moman and dreinark (new game) are not really my type, some bad calls, focussing on unimportant stuff, not funny, etc. Also a question of duos a lot. And matchups. Etc. Imre best for korean hype stuff for sure :D
