i am pretty annoyed by sc2 casters' insistence on using the word "abuse" when there's no abuse going on.
aLive didn't abuse the terrain in that game. he used it to his advantage, and he did so very well. but there's nothing abusive about that. at the end when Artosis said aLive was abusing Losira's lack of mutas, that was proper usage of the word. but other than that, he mostly abused the word abuse.

Because his oponent has 10 workers and not that much of an army. There is no real gain by leaving early, people should not do that when there is a chance they are misjudging the situation.
He had an army Losira couldn't kill because he had no mutas, that's enough of a reason to leave. Plus even with 16 workers, aLive was at least still mining and producing new units. Losira was completely broke.
He had 2 options if he wanted to stay in the game: long distance mine or attack aLive.

i'm guessing you're referring to me saying he used it correctly regarding the lack of mutas? now that i think about it, you might be right, that doesn't really make sense either.

I think some of the players who were good in WoL and are having a resurgence in LotV are either trying to show their old playstyles from back then were viable because they look so silly in retrospect, or they're referencing those old builds for style points, but that aLive/Losira series was a drag to watch. The new meta just seems so many miles better, sure Polt can mess around playing like MarineKing if he's playing Snute. Doesn't work so well against Dark, does it?
