This makes one think about removing the tankivac I don't think the tankivac is what made that game so good. I dunno Kev. I'm on the remove side but there is something to them. Maybe just remove boost from medivacs when something is hanging under it Boosted thors with bio gave us some of the best TvZ's ever, why would you remove that. Meh, if we just can keep the Inno eternal Thorivac I'm fine with it  That was still the saddest thing I ever saw.

TvT just like PvP, painful to play but pleasure to watch.But i guess right now piority on player is better.
The only problem is if we remove tankivac then TvT basically the same like hots or wol but i have high hope about liberator' ground mode come into play when you can't lift tankivac anymore.At least i hope there is different.

It's still a bad game mechanic, especially for tvt. I think boost is a way bigger issue in TvT tbh. On Ruins of Seras you're not likely to go mech in TvT anyway, and marine/tank vs marine/tank on maps like these was already a shitfest in HotS. Doom drops into doom drops into doom drops, the only difference being that the tanks were dropped unsieged.
Well yeah the overall 'problem' is the medivac itself. I still think dropship + healing (and then even an added boost) wasn't the best decision overall.
But that's another topic i guess.

What's so awful about hots TV and thou ? It's perfect we had every unit composition , from mech vs bio, bio vs bio, much vs mech and biomech vs everything, lotv will always be marine tank medivac , I think in the long-run it gets boring

This makes one think about removing the tankivac I don't think the tankivac is what made that game so good. But it was. Well played by both players. Such skill, much wow! It was a close, action packed, back and forth game. I'm not sure it was a good game though... For instance it's far behind imho of the top TvT games of HotS. Anyway the main issue with tankivac is that what you've seen today is pretty much the best you will ever see if tankivacs are not removes, and it will always be the same game over and over, and over.

Strategy-wise, this game was awefull. There was no "strategy", it's get out with your tankivac and try to take an abusive position at any cost. TY gained a lead because he was the first to go out with tankivacs and took a positon on Alive's main.
The only thing you can do in TvT is play marine tankivac. There is no strategy, no thinking.
And don't get me wrong, that was a very impressive display of terran mastery. Action packed, all over the place... but that was because the two players were so evenly matched, not because they droped tanks.

Aside from that tankivac debate, it's really cool that KT truted TY as an ace again, and that he could win, not only it erases last week's loss but also it will boost his confidence.
Now, they just need to build a zerg ace, somehow.

That was such an awesome game. Not going to lie, I'll miss watching TY micro his tankivacs like this, it has improved terran in all match up in my opinion bot to watch and, from my experience as Zerg, to play against, it's unfortunate to see that it will be gone.
