I think having comeback mechanics make sense when your average game length is something upwards of 30/40 minutes, it is pretty painful to watch a game that has been won for 20 minutes but takes time to close and where surrendering is pretty uncommon.
except once again it's 2-2, money on the line, game is newer, confidence is lower, and how it can be a game of low information. you don't have 5 people controlling things, you have yourself. games past 20 minutes are rare in lotv, and that includes the process of closing it out.
the point i am trying to make is that the players themselves accept their positions and purposefully drag it out to make sure their chances are as high as possible, on both sides of the field. what does that mentality have to do with the game itself?
what kind of comeback mechanic are you guys suggesting? lol like a combo break in a fighting game? = a button to kill things randomly in starcraft? bonus gold for killing heroes on killstreaks? = less income for a player on more workers? kinda grasping at straws here no matter what it is.
in an rts, you bend the rules by using better tactics. that's how you get more efficient, that's how you catch up, that's how you make a comeback within a game, and your mentality outside of a game changes the outcome of your proceeding ones.

I know and I understand that. Might be why we see a lot of 15 years boy enjoy this and play the game. Meanwhile the girls do something else. If you go to a local esport tournament to enjoy some computer games, get greeted with strippers and sexistic jokes and nudity on screen, it "might" scare the girls away. Thought about that? You dont need to have a master degree in feminism to understand why that make scare girls away.

There is only one event of this type in starcraft community and people still complain about it, wtf

These stories are pretty great.

Elazer has been playing forever, just got good in HotS.

I was saying I think having stronger comeback mechanics make more sense in a game like LoL where the games themselves can take a long time, but I guess I didn't say it very clearly. I don't think a lack of comeback potential is a problem with SC2 at all, and there is still things like defending advantage anyway.
