Life vs TaeJa wasn't a great game it's just rated high because of the unusual openers of the 2 players that somehow transitioned into a macro game. Otherwise the game was pretty boring. Just TaeJa attacking, life defending and destroying taeJas economy with a counterattack, then TaeJa doing a last desperation push that fails. Pretty standard tvz.

game opens with 8/8/8 vs proxy rax
tanks can actually hit Life's proxy hatchery, what an awful placement of the hatchery
wow is that an useful raven in bio vs Zerg?
Life loses 1/3 of his drones to a drop. Life is behind
Life loses his 4th base and suicides banelings when trying to protect it.
Taeja is running a pain train, choking out Life, removing creep, staying on even economy.

Then Life runs ling/bane off creep, sandwiches entire army and wins his firsst fight in the game.
Taeja is still in a good position, attacks, maxes out with less workers, 3/3 vs no hive.

Then Life runs his entire army past Taeja, circumvents all of his units, all of his vision, for one humongous strike in the economy. Life kills all but 6 (4?) SCVs.

Then Life wins the game.

How do you remembers this?

this game marked Life's comeback in the series and his comeback as the strongest player in the world. I also reached a nerdgasm
