Taeja certainly isn't the greatest player (due to his self-acknowledged weakness in preperation format), but he's one of the most talented to ever play Starcraft. Sure, he is a great player overall. But all his success was in weekend tournaments where only a tiny fraction of Code S players even participates. Yes he had to beat good players on his run, but if you wanna win a korean tournament you have to win against good players EVERY SINGLE round you play in this tournament (for the most part). Which is exactly the reason people (should) value these korean tournaments a lot more. On August 07 2015 00:40 Charoisaur wrote: I only included ro4 for tier 1 tournaments as I did with marus ro4 in blizzcon because I don't consider a ro4 at a dreamhack very impressive. Otherwise TaeJas list would be far longer. And I already called some of the opponents he beat. I wasn't talking about a dreamhack ro4, but gsl and other korean tournaments instead. But following your logic, if you don't think a round of 4 in a dreamhack is impressive you also shouldn't value winning a dreamhack as very impressive. Damn, Taeja's 8 "premier" tournament wins aren't impressive? Oh shit.

In TvT, the most important thing would most likely be Air Superiority. And after seeing so many TvTs over the years from Wol to Hots, this has proven true most of the time.

I think helping with his girlfriends cooking channel on youtube. At least that's where all his tweets are about pretty much.

i remember watching a video update from him about 1 year ago?? He mentioned he had a throat or vocal condition? Thinking back on how he used to cast, it wasn't really a surprise. He was advised by his doctor to take some time off and i don't think he ever got back the passion to come back.
