Yup, that game literally went as I expected it - Hellbats into Mech into dead Zerg. No idea why Zergs don't expect that by now from Bbyong.

I think medivacs use some kind of next-level substance that regenerates body tissues?

There was actually a thread that made up a physical explanation for all of this seeemingly impossible stuff, but it involved a lot of auxiliary objects that are not shown on screen in-game for clarity.
