You'll probably quit after being stuck in Masters or something and getting frustrated at the TvT mirror (or Protoss imba as usual) + Show Spoiler + SjoW

I agree with others that TY doesn't look that good when he is not given time to prepare. Just have him prepare as a backup specifically against Maru. Every time. TY, Stats and Life have the best map records against Maru, one of them didn't get to play. Plus TY has winning records against Trap and Cure aswell and one of those probably would have been the 4th pick for Jin Air.

I agree with others that TY doesn't look that good when he is not given time to prepare. Yeah but I mean when KT is facing Maru it's a matter of basic survival. Sending Zest first was a great call since he got 2 kills on the two best JAGW players behind Maru, then he lost to Maru as expected I guess, and when KT is in this situation it should be a "Kill Maru" mindset. Which means not sending out additional Protosses, who are just basic food for Maru, but playing on Maru's weakest MUs (relatively), TvT and TvZ. Basically it means sending, in order, TY/FlaSh/Life.

I usually don't jump in the hate train that fast but this has been happening for a long time now. Even First and Super looked better than now and they're not playing PL. Sorry HOT I like you, but you suck. Hoejja back pls or someone to save us

I don't agree with this notion at all, he may be somewhat inconsistent, but if he is on form he plays extremely well (cause his micro and multitasking are ridiculous) Flash on the other hand is bad in both (if you compare it to actually good ones like Maru)

That splendid wall-in into proxy Stargate build on Vaani was probably the best thing they could come up with.

Stats' original plan was proxy colossus with range but he abandoned it when he realised Maru eats colossi for breakfast. In all seriousness, Life has been their attempt to snipe Maru twice, he lost both games (although Maru also was his sniper with the mech build on EL). Time for a non-Protoss backup. And TY excels at map-specific snipes.

Maru is always on guard against him for hidden nexi and proxy shenanigans after that PL loss last year.

What they should do imo is prepare TY to snipe Maru and play him asap, because it seems he can't handle the pressure of being the 4th man.
