You think Ret is better than Jaedong?

I like how the mistakes Jaedong made in 2013 are the mistakes hes making in 2015
|
Stardust's play is very scrappy - but very intelligent and strategic compared to JD

If Jaedong's 2015 is like his 2013, he's in for a great year

best case scenario, Jaedong draws Hydra and lucks himself into semis where Lilbow has lucked in over SD, JD makes finals randomly

His games vs. Petraeus were really well planned!

hes traveled as much, but instead of playing, hes been touring.

Congrats to StarDust. Definitely deserved it

Jaedong is probably the type of player who loses the most from leaving the KeSPA environment. He badly needs a coach and teammates to tell him what to do in such and such situations.

In ZvP yes. I expected either
Ret > SD Jaedong > Pet Jaedong > Ret SD < Pet Ret > Pet
or what happened. I didn't think SD had that good PvZ and honestly I still don't

it's just that he doesn't know how to basetrade or play out the current midgame meta against protoss

Stardust looks a lot better because he's behind yet he knows what he needs to do to win. Jaedong gains an advantage and tries to brute force things

The four group winners all did it with a 4-0 record.

Especially interesting when 0 groups in the round of 32 ended that way

Ah, well despite Jaedong and Ret both losing 2-0 to Stardust, Jaedong's games were a heck of a lot better/ closer than Ret's.

That failed speedling all in was Ret's game to lose certainly, IMO much closer than the last JD/SD game. I honestly don't remember Ret/SD game 2. Tbh none of the three of them look strong enough to take the title anyway.
