To be fair there's another korean coming after this game. I think Stats has way a better chance vs a Rogue or Cure. True

Good thing after this there's another match. Plus what matters is the performance in Proleague, and here Flash is by far worse.

Ravens weren't really nerf for TvZ. 3min long pdd was almost only used vs SH.

Zerg has no endgame vs mech, it's really that simple A theoritical bl infestor viper ultra ling army maybe. It's the fact zerg wont ever get that army. Nope. The theoretical ghost/raven/BC/Viking easily beats this

Yeah....but then Life figured out how to beat that style and has been winning vs mech ever since. Now he had to play vs Mech with not enough time to find a new solution (if there is one) to the problem. If you don't stomp mech out early, zerg has no answer.

Think about the reason why his ZvMech was rather bad. He didn't really abuse the Swarm Hosts. Imo the main reason for his struggles in the MU. Now even this option's gone.

Thats TvP since wol (although I do favor split upgrades. I've never liked it. Skyterran isn't mech).

I know Life historically has struggled more against mech than against bio, but I would still like to know how to approach late-game as Zerg in general. Well I agree it is a problem, but still - what a big accomplishment - SH are out of the game. It brings us to unmapped territory and we have to hope it will be fixed(either by finding some unit composition from top Zergs or by balance patch). But still - I trade that for removing SH
Go MARU!!!

Ah yeah. I mean Stats could have to play Cure, and still better chance than Flash vs Rogue.

Life could have won with dimaga's overlord drop baneling strategy. He should watch more foreigners.

Except the same Zerg viewer gets to see a back-and-forth, action-packed game instead of endless camping? That's what I don't get from the comments here.

Hilarious comment? Maru completely messed up his early game attack, Life made amazing engagement on a very zerg favored map, yet he was never close to win.
It was an entertaining game, but looked depressing from a Zerg point of view, it looked there is absolutely no solution against mech.

This is like the first time in forever that flash has been benched when available; save for other reasons such as being away for tournaments. Truly, the end of an era.

And his problem has usually been that he went too aggressive. In this game, it was Maru who was pushing into Ultralisks and zerglings with premaxed armies all game long and doing the coinflippy opening timing with the hellions that was shut down hard.

people are right...as zerg we do complain a lot more than other races.
had like 4 games with no zerg players and no one getting mad. then as soon as a zerg lost we go full aids. I'm going to break the trend and stop bitching about things in general
This should be an awesome PvT
