The calendar was wrong then if so. Incredibly annoying.

Natural was denied for a long time and he always had Dream contained at two base. There was literally no way for Dream to win that game, only for Maru to lose

Don't worry, the calendar lied until a few hours before the start. It said 6 am eastern time then it suddenly switched to 530 eastern time so you really were about right with 15 minutes of build up.

Way bigger army and far ahead in upgrades. Even though he was ~10 workers behind, he was up on supply.
So Dream can't really do anything from there. He tried to harass, but the superiour army from Maru makes it very hard. He can't turtle and grab a third, because Maru has tanks outside his natural.
The economic lead wasn't big enough that he could max out before Maru.

Maru was momentally ahead because he had a huge army size advantage and if dream never got a 3rd up it wouldnt matter the difference in scv count. So if Maru were sure that his contain would never break it was actually the correct move not to remake make scv and to lift his first cc instead of wasting 550mins on another CC.

I'm not a good Terran but he had a big upgrade lead and army lead for a loooong time. Dream was never gonna be able to take a third either with Maru camped outside his nat. yeah it was the upgrade lead and containing dreams natural (better: keeping dream in his main and not being able to use his natural for 2 -3 Minutes) for a long time while he himself was fine on 2 bases. Upgrade lead gets a very big deal when you have a high number of units using the upgrades. There were fights Maru had like 20 Marines more, this is basically 20 more damage output, which is huge when you focus down tanks or so
