MMA played awfully, not even close to what we just saw.
I bet Fanta with this style would defeat PartinG too, unless Parting would so some early aggression. No other way to survive as protoss.

He had 'a colossus' that had just come out of the Robo, yes. You said he left his 'colossi' alone and standing around. Colossi is plural. So you were incorrect.
Yes, I watched MMA vs Parting. Different maps, different builds, different situations completely. That's kind of my point, actually. You can't play the way Rain is trying to play vs. a good Terran in this current stage of the game; you have to play Parting-style.

He's not entirely wrong. Between Oracles, Blink, mine drops, Hellions, into multiple-drop fest versus Colossus defense into mass Storm + LAZORS... TvP is a matchup that turns on moments of only seconds to secure either a win or a massive lead. It's very different from TvZ or TvT for instance, where parade push siege battles can go on for minutes at a time and the constant positional tug of war of tank armies take both lots of time and patience.

Lol, it's safe to say that MMA was playing really bad. That game you are talking about, he over-defended 3(4?) gate blink and was really happy that he didn't die and then realized he's behind because, well, it wasn't all in.
I mean the game wasn't the best example of how Protoss can defend.
It's similar to these games, Rain did some mistakes and Fanta none, it shows the problems(small groups of gateway units cannot stand against small bio-medivac), but the lost of Rain is because of his mistakes and style(he's known for sit&defend style and he is abused because of this).
