then you could end up with 1, 2 or 3 all EU groups....

Have the one pot of 8 random eu players and the other with 6 random eu players

Pot 1 : 8 AM Pot 2 : 8 EU Pot 3 : 6 EU + 2 Lat Am, TW or Oceania Pot 4 : 4 CN + the 2 regions not included in Pot 3
Wasn't it the most obvious choice ?

what they did ensured the most diverse spread of players, only one group ended up with 3 players from the same region and one of them is korean. They literally could not have done it better.

I think it'd be better if they just split off two random EUs into pot 3 instead of Mana and Happy

Wasn't it the most obvious choice ? They wanted one pot to be like "asia" as in China/Taiwan/Russia/Mana :p and another pot to be like southern hemisphere as in LatAM/Oceania plus surplus from EU and the rest two pots be North America and Europe

yes lets complicate it to the point we have to constantly redraw names
|
um...... what are you guys even discussing here? I think the group drawings were fine, the slight mistake with naniwa really has no impact, it would be even more unfair to redraw after that small mistake imo,
That aside, WOW!!!! this is by far the most hype wcs event for me, it is going to be so cool to see players who normally do not play each other facing off. I think happy actually may have a shot at getting out of the group of death, if he can beat serrel in a losers match than taking 1 bo3 off polt or ForGG is possible. iirc he beat forGG in one of those fragbite tourneys awhile back and he has some sick tvt.
Also I look forward to my NA boys wrecking those eu scrubs in the first group
Huk also looks to have a fairly easy group, and Kane has a decent shot in the last group as his zvz has always been fairly strong, NA pride must be upheld!!
Perhaps not the perfact group for snute, his zvz has always been good, but not spectacular, and both piG and kane could upset him imo.
just my initial thoughts
|
Thank god state didn't upset huk.
|
Poor Snute... His ZvZ hasn't been too great lately, I really hope he can get out of his group. The hardest group overall might be group B.
