On the December 20th & 21st I'll be hosting the Caseking X-Mas cup, powered by AKRacing. The Invitational will have a prizepool of 2500 EURO and feature 16 international top players.
I'm super happy to be able to run the tournament and wanted to thank the tournament sponsors Caseking, AKRacing, Phanteks, Zowie and King Mod Systems for the supporting it! We decided to distribute the prize money amongst the Top 8 of the tournament to cater towards the players and hope the tournament will be a great start into the christmas holidays for everybody!
LINEUP:
PRIZEMONEY DISTRIBUTION:
- 1st Place: 1000 EURO
- 2nd Place: 700 EURO
- 3rd & 4th Place: 200 EURO
- 5th - 8th Place: 100 EURO
SCHEDULE & Format:
The tournament will start on Saturday(20th) and Sunday(21st) at 2pm CET (5am PST). Saturday will feature the Round of 16 matches (Bo3) and on Sunday the Round of 8 (Bo3) will be played as well as the Semifinals(Bo5) and the Grand Final(Bo5). There will be no Bronze Match.
All games will be shown consecutively so the viewers won't have to decide between games and can see all matches. The bracket will be released a few days before the tournament starts. Map Pool will be the WCS Season 3 Ladder Map Pool

Actually, a ForGG vs Life finals looks fairly likely. ForGG has to beat a foreigner, probably YoDa (think TvT), and a weak protoss or Jaedong. Life has almost no zergs on his side of the bracket.

Even if he did have Zergs on his side of the bracket, I can only think of two or three that could foreseeably threaten him. First and MMA/Parting should be a cakewalk if he plays like he has recently, so going out before the semis seems unlikely.
