Supply counts and unit compositions are so different that it is very hard to understand what "70 supply down" means. 10 to 80 supply is way worse than 130 to 200. There are plenty of MU's where one army has been mauled down to 130 but with another production cycle and some good defensive spellcasters/units they can hold off a 200 army and then continue to max out.

After they said that it used to be a thing for defending champions to get knocked out in the Round of 32, I did a quick check to see which champions did that. They were, in reverse chronological order: Sniper, DRG, MC (Code S title), Mvp (1st title), and FruitDealer.

It makes sense in that in a perfect world we would probably have seen more ZvP from Effort in 2014 and not have these kinds of stats pop up.
