Probably depends on the part of germany though. Like Handball>Football in Schleswig-Holstein, but Football>Handball nearly anywhere else.

A few years ago, I worked a summer at a place called Skansen, basically a zoo/theme park in central stockholm, mainly shoveling feces and cleaning restrooms. One day, some guy from a visiting school decided the moose weren't being very active and looked for a way to animate them a little. This he did by climbing into the enclosure and pelting them with pine cones. As it turns out, throwing stuff at a 650 KG moose is associated with certain risks.

Finland and Canada are only nations where ice hockey is the biggest sport. I think there are no field hockey fields in Finland. Nobody plays it. But floorball is realy popular in Finland and Sweden.
