I wrote to KT on Facebook and asked why Flash did not allow the game to be casted.

Yeah I think it's fine if he worries about cross server lag, but the replay thing really ticks me off, always did. They can't just stand above the rules. If they don't want to play, don't, but follow the rules. They show disrespect imo, they would/could never do that in a KeSPA tournament. Mostly I am angry at ESL for not enforcing the rules though.

What's the point in having rules if you don't enforce them? No appearantly it's in the rules that they can't force him. Oh. That makes more sense than what I thought you were implying =P EDIT: It's still very strange though. It's kinda like an EPL football team refusing to give access to Sky Sports on match-day even though Sky Sports are helping to fund the teams/tournament. ESL are putting on a tournament with a large amount of money and so should be able to broadcast any game they want from the tournament (qualifiers are part of the tournament). If players don't like that then they just shouldn't play. If that means KeSPA players choose not to play then so be it. Given that other players don't seem to have a problem with it, this just makes Flash look like a bit of a diva...
It is important to note that we nor Fenner are the 'official' ESL casters, so it's possible if he makes it to day 2 THEN they will force him to be cast.
Could still be wrong. Haven't seen someone go far enough to deny the official stream coverage in the first place. Flash might be the first?

ESL wants to provide good games. If you enforce replays, I am willing to bet money that the KeSPa players won't take part.

TaKeTV is official and we are denied too. He apologized though. Still will probably rather quit than play. I think I've only casted him once.

Yeah I'd rather see them not take part then, I think they would come around eventually. Rules are rules and IEM and other foreign tournaments shoudl stop giving them special treatment or they will never change. Let them sit in Korea all year and sooner or later they will budge in I think.

Yes and we will miss all brilliant games. Not the price I would want to pay.
