Hopefully MMA can pick himself up and win this! Though that would mean going through jjakji... gulp
|
Lol, uThermal hahaha
It's a pity he didn't prepare better for the immortal bust, he was actually in a pretty good position after the nexus cancel.

This thread will be updated on the fly by our admins and replays will be available for download. Just click on the mapname in the match spoiler for downloading. A complete replay pack will also be published after the event.

Damn, just missed Patience uThermal. How was it?
|
Very short. You can find the replays in the OP

I'd love both Happy and Dimaga to take a spot but looks like Patience is going to take first
|
Blah... the deciding match is gonna be a heartbreak no matter who comes out.

Dimaga is winning now, I can't believe it.
|
This Happy Dimaga game is one of the most entertaining mechvz I've seen in a while. The blue-flame hellbat drop on the hydras is very cool too
|
That was a really turbulent game. I was hoping Dimaga would take G2 so we could see another round, but that game was crazy good, and Happy looked really close to failing on many points.

Khaldor doing an excellent SCV impersonation during Game 2 of Chayok vs MMA.

Perfectly scout 2 bases roach all in, pump 3 SCVs at a time.

MMA is a shadow of his former self. Sometimes I wish he just retired back in May 2012
Seriously, how the hell do you fucking scout a roach bust and still not fucking prepare for it. It's been 3 years since Lucky cheesed you out at IPL3, and yet this same story repeats itself.

These last three years man, it's been rough. With all the Slayers drama, the first great slump, and now this current slump. There was a time when MMA was without question one of the best players in the world, and the second most accomplished Terran of WoL. Sometimes you wish your heroes could have had a graceful exit while they were still on top, rather than slowly regress into this.

Gogo jeysen, do it for France !

Does MMA realize that he's sent himself to the LB by losing to Bly?

Eh, 2012 was mixed. It started off really promising, then all the shit hit the fan around May. Late 2012, now that was the darkest time.
The issue right now is that MMA's form seems very very questionable to me. He needs to go deep in WCS EU this season if he wants to make it to Blizzcon, but he'll need to show some improvement fast or have some ridiculous luck (which he already has had, with Yoda throwing away 2 leads in their series).
Aside from WCS EU Season 1 where he got 2nd, his last strong showing was the ATC 3 Grand Finals, where he went 6-1. Even then, he was only going up against Liquid's foreigners, and he will face tougher competition in WCS.

You're right. My issue is that my expectations for MMA were set back in summer/fall 2011, so perhaps I am the embodiment of the high expectations asian father / fan.
