TLO (Z) v Grubby (P)
TLO, a long standing member of Team Liquid is a well established and successful European Zerg! At 39th in the WCS Global Standings TLo is a solid player With consistent results in events such as the Seat Story Cup, TLO will be ready to smash in the BO9!
Grubby, a Dutch Protoss player who is self represented has long been a hero of European eSports. A former WC3 pro player, Grubby has a huge following. Currently 63rd in the WCS rankings for 2014, Grubby was able to get to the RO16 in S2 of WCS EU!

There is $400 on the line. All 9 games will be played, each player will get $87.5 for taking part, then another $25 per win they get!

If you would like to help more events like this happen though, please consider if you could....
There are 3 ways you can contribute that will allow me to put on more events in the future. As this is a new venture, please be assured that 100% of revenue is currently going into the prize pool for more events. I am not "paying" myself with these events.
So how can you help and contribute?
Subscribe to my twitch channel. It is $5/month but means I have some consistent money to put on this sort of event / show match. More subs = more content.
Consider donating! Not as fantastic as subs, as it isn't monthly and therefore I cannot plan around it but still is hugely helpful. You can donate any amount you want here: Click here to donate via Pay Pal
Turn off Adblock when watching streams you enjoy. This one is simple, it is free and gives the broadcaster a SMALL amount of revenue per ad.
Don't forget - all 9 games are played regardless as they get money per win, not map score! Map score still matters though as the winner will be with the winners of all my other showmatches which may matter in the future

This is a good idea, although logistically when I am running 3+ showmatches per month it can become a nightmare tracking payments to who etc!
The best thing to do is to sub / donate to the channel - that allows me to put on more content as a whole. So while it may not go to a specific player - it goes to players as a whole and means more content
Does anyone know the mappool that's gonna be used for this? I wonder if Madals chose to use 'old' maps like Frost and Habitation Station, or if we're gonna get some funky fresh new maps. The latter would suit the way the bo.9 is set-up I feel (prize per map-win and all).

Meanwhile, in the real world, TLO is up 2-0.
TLO's results have pretty much always been better than Grubby's.
Grubby's current form isn't bad though. He did well in online cups in the last weeks and his DH performance was not bad. Almost got out of the hardest group.

I think that just meant that TLO's army was 70 supply higher instead of 60... Grubby had more workers but had 1 mining base, so having 50 workers doesn't really do anything. Splitting up TLO's 40 workers between the gold and the other two mining bases isn't full saturation, but it was fine compared to Grubby.

Yeah, Grubby was way too passive there and just didn't know how to finish off the game. TLO's 9 pool completely failed and Grubby was way ahead, but then TLO just outmicroed Grubby hard and kept forcing Grubby to pull back until TLO was ahead 25 minutes later. This series is definitely showing that TLO is still stronger than Grubby.

4-1 atm.
Yea was hoping grubby could bring a little bit closer series atleast.
Thank you all for tuning in - was a pleasure to cast it. Will update with vods when they are live - they aren't going on my youtube so will be a little more delayed than usual.
It was hilarious, I really enjoyed watching it. I hope I'll be able to contribute to make more of these happen. Thanks Madals, proper fedora tipping for you!
