Patton was completely right not to give up a won game just because his opponent was being stubborn and BM. Avilo could have tapped out ages ago, but the whole thing was a joke to him, laughing right up until the end.

What he shuld have done ages ago was to to lift Ranves/vikings to the dead space in order to test whether it was safe. It was absolutely pointless for the zerg to have to kill the entire ground army, because it was clear that it eventually was going to happen.

He legitimately believed it was a draw until the last 5 minutes. In a qualifier where he was down 0-1. He actually did the exact opposite of intentionally delaying the game when he contacted the admin, because he THOUGHT it was a draw.

Also he was of course playing to win, he couldn't have attacked into that. No one could have.

It's like a terran player floating all his buildings and leaving the computer... already knows he has lost but delay the the loss for as long as possible...

He lost 4 CCs and a starport over nearly an hour of game time, zerg was doing slight damage even if it took ages. Loss was inevitable, just slow and painful.
