More events and tournaments to fill the gap between the ladder and the top end tournament qualifiers. So I thought - why not bring the SC2ITL to America? So I did. SC2Improve is excited to announce SC2Improve Team League America Season One. I absolutely love running the SC2ITL in Europe simply because of the huge amount of entertainment and stories we gain from each season. Seeing players come into their prime for their teams and play in an environment where every single map matters. I can't wait to see the same thing with all of the American teams & talent! + Show Spoiler +SC2Improve Team League America Season One will be an open tournament with a $10 entry fee. All of the money from entrance fees goes towards the prize pool (as detailed later.) The tournament is set to run from June 30th with a Round Robin Group Stage into a single-elimination playoffs. The exact length and format is yet to be confirmed and will be set depending on the number of teams that enter. We will aim to keep the round robin stage to around 7 weeks in length.
Match formats are BO7 all-kill matches where teams organize the time for their match through the week, allowing for maximum flexibility between teams and also giving us a spread of games throughout each week so that we can bring you as much of the action as possible through the official stream.
Prize Pool1st - $500 + 5 x ZOWIE EC2 eVo CL Mice 2nd - $250 + 5 x ZOWIE Red G-CM Mousepads 3rd - $100 We also have $200 remaining from our sponsor. This will be used to run some tournament linked to SC2ITL America - details soon(ish!).

Another update : we just had a $100 donation followed by a $500 SPONSORSHIP from FilthyRake (http://www.youtube.com/FilthyRake) - this is clearly a huge increase in money and I will be deciding how to split it in the next day or two.

Update the prize pool! We have had $725 come our way through a sponsor & donations since we announced the league last night. Currently I have split this extra money across the prize pool but have held $255 back from our sponsor http://www.youtube.com/FilthyRake . Once I see the number of teams taking part etc I will round the prize pool up to even amounts and then use what is left to put on some extra fun stuff with-in the league

IvD is doing to Solaris what Solaris themselves did to SEED. Not just an all-kill (most likely) but this isn't even looking like a challenge for Apocalypse.

I dunno Guitarcheese was certainly a challenge. If Guitarcheese actually scouted the fact that Apocalypse had taken a fifth he would have shut it down easily (there was no anti-air there, no mines no turrets) and more than likely gone on to win the game.
