i think muta into roach is still fine if you have strong muta control, ideally catch them by surprise, and don't just get blindcountered by a 1/1 roach push. if it's not a short rush distance and you turtle a bit with spines you can still use muta openers to take control of the pace of the game and then go into standard ground
it's not a "great" build but it's something that can work as part of a repertoire of builds. the thing i don't understand is the scarlett mass muta style. now THAT'S something i think is borderline useless

Wouldn't swarm hosts be a good solution given Scarlett's low economy ?
Swarm hosts are fairly mediocre against bio, especially when terran is dropping all over the place. Also, Scarlett isn't very good at swarmhosts iirc.

I disagree with this. I think MajOr is doing the right thing. His army is much weaker than Scarlett's in a straight up fight. But with his worker count he can replenish his army very fast, and can and just did pick Scarlett apart.
