Well the reason he's not winning anything may be related to the fact that in GSL he seems to throw his wins away. (Having a 2-1 advantage over Life then doing builds he was clearly not comfortable with.) and the fact that he seems to decline participating in events such as DreamHack etc.

No but really, that's the main reason I figured we weren't going to win this one. It was going to go to ace on a map where pvp is extremely likely. Despite being a team with protoss out the ass, nobody has really demonstrated solid top-tier PvP...

It only means that he's not winning. Mvp was winning against every common sense sometimes.
And Maru never really performed overseas except for killing guys who're weaker than him or just choke hard like it was in Cologne.
