On the other hand he is actually involved with an esports-team. He sees the other ugly sides of balancing problems, like the downplaying of the actual skill and effort, mostly because blizzard doesnt seem to be willing or able to go for a 'fair' balancing. How shitty has it to be for a player, to invest an incredible ammount of time into something, therefore finally being successfull, only to hear how he is a patch-toss/zerg/terran? Even worse, its completely impossible to actually measure the inflfuence of misbalancing. Can also be a hard hit for your confidence as a person as well as a professional gamer. Even though i think TBs comments are sometimes slightly polemic (even though often correct), its pretty understandable considering his background.
Actually, that speaks more of the community (or at least sections of it) than Blizzard.

Depends. Just talking about imbalances has an effect. And furthermore blizzards attitude makes things worse, because many gamers feel powerless and ignored (even though it might be totally wrong, idk). This will promote toxic behaviour. Just look at forums or the twitch chat. People being emotional about things they care isnt bad, but its ofting reaching in the realms of frustration and negativity.

I think they said binarybeast originally reported the score backwards so liquipedia was updated incorrectly in response. He really 2-0d Yoda instead of losing to him 0-2

Wow ToD wrecked everybody. Also group D, 2 koreans in the group, 2 koreans do not advance. I don't think that has ever happened lol.

Last time it happened was Dreamhack Summer 2012, when Puma and Vampire were eliminated

man, you guys sure bicker a lot XD So, HerO lost? Doesn't mean Impact is much better or worse than him. The fact that they can both kept the games close means they are likely close to equal in skill levels and both deserve being respected by either fans. Also, try being a Jaedong fan if you think it's tough to see a player lose! Watching him lose every final he's been in(- ASUS ROG) was freaking horrible to watch especially when he's lost to things he should win against lol but as a fan, you take it in strides and with his demeanor, I'm sure he'll eventually win a major tourney(I don't count ASUS as one).
I have to agree with TB on the investment part. Compared to being fans of a player, he invested into a team and the player and would have a better idea of any perceived imbalances and just how hard his players may be/are practicing etc... so when a player loses due to what is seen as an imbalance, it's rough for the owner. Either way, ya, this LR has been rather turbulent in the last 15 pages or so though I won't say I didn't enjoy it XD
