KT, SKT, JinAir, and to some extend CJ are sure loss. IM can beat MVP, Prime. Samsung is 50/50. Please send out Mvp more. It's not like he was sent out 10 times and had a 1-9 record or something like that. We don't know if he would be terrible. It's dumb that we have Flash and Mvp in proleague with no chance of them playing each other.

Based on MVP's performance in WCS EU, he's is fairly low on the totem pole compared to the numerous Code S players on his team. In addition, internal roster decisions are typically made using an in-house ranking based on performance in practice and customs. If MVP is not being played, it's because he's not at a high enough level right now

If MVP is not being played, it's because he's not at a high enough level right now I think it's more arbitrary than that. I remembered Mvp was sent as ace once. Why would they send some guy who was struggling to the ace match if they really wanted to win?

Perhaps the IM coach and MVP saw something they could exploit in his play. MVP is quite good at executing "snipe" style builds catered to individual players.

Why would they send some guy who was struggling to the ace match if they really wanted to win? There was a very high likelihood RorO (Zerg) would be ace. The map was Outboxer (great mech map for Mvp). hmm.. He lost in one-sided fashion but even in retrospect it was a reasonable decision (though Byul also beat RorO before on the same map and probably could have done it again). That's very different from regularly sending Mvp in the lineup where there's no telling who he'll get, especially when the league is heavily-populated with protoss (Mvp's worst matchup). Also hardly anyone is a sure loss to anyone in this league. I'd of hoped MVP (team) demonstrated that last round where they beat every Kespa team at least once after landing towards the bottom in round 1 and losing to Prime and IM early in round 2. Or alternatively, Khan who were very high up in round 1 but almost landed below Prime in round 2. Hell, some of the teams you named were already defeated by IM ffs.
