Those Koreans like MMA und jjakji, they sacrificed their whole future for this game. It's their life unlike westerners who go to school or attend university. It's pretty obvious that someone who spends 24/7 on SC2 beats someone with only half their dedication Dislike korean domination? Why? They have been producing the best players for 15 years, it's not like any surprise or so that even the exiled, bad, non-GSL-qualified koreans are better than foreigners Apparently this game isn't called Starcraft 2 Heart of the Swarm for foreigner fans. It is called Korea vs the World. Korean players practicing hard and showing great skill on stream is bad for the game somehow. And every mistake Korean makes is a huge/unforgivable blunder while anything foreigner does is the most genius move ever that is going to revolutionize the game. I still maintain that the internet drama fiends aren't even fans to begin with. In any sport, mind you. Doesnt have anything to do with racism. Again, citation needed. what citation lol You seem to pretend that everyone is of your opinion when that is objectively not true. Yes, when did I say everyone. Citation please. XD "Because one sided domination is boring." Not "Because I think one sided domination is boring." Anything else? And no, I personally don't think it's boring. You know political correctness is boring
This isn't political correctness. As far as I'm concerned you're just pure wrong and I'm sick and tired of these drama hyenas doing nothing but trying to ruin the fun.
And If I could watch MMA win every tournament in the history of SC2 from now on, I know I fucking would, and pay money for it too.

This foreigner vs Korean etc is nice for the hype but ultimately, the game is about a single players vs a single player. Their country of origin is irrelevant, IMO; only the quality of their play. Stories, casters, production, hype, storylines, legacies, etc. That's all nice, but Godly games trump all of that every time. There's a reason Jjakji vs Leenock is still the best GSL finals of all time despite having close to the worst storyline of all time.
They were both really young, if that counts for something. Leenock was 16 and Jjakji was 17.
Leenock was also looking like the hottest player in the world at the time, having won the stacked MLG Providence, beating MMA, DRG, Mvp, Huk, Naniwa, etc. etc. and then beating Mvp again in the Ro4, whereas Jjakji was one of the biggest darkhorses going into the finals.

Let's stop feeding this notion. Responses are just feeding the discussion, eventually it will last entire series. There is no reasoning with people online imo.

Yes, worst is a lot of hype leading in to poor games in comparison and then disappointment. We get that a fair bit.

Yes it is. Just because I don't write "I think" you think I mean everyone -.- It's obvious that this is MY opinion. Otherwise I would say EVERYONE SAYS one sided domination is boring. It's just political correctness crap.
And of course there are people who are not of my opinion but there are also people who agree with me. Why is it bad to voice their own opinion?

Going into that everyone thought it was a foregone conclusion Leenock was going to win. The casters, the players, the news. Everyone was calling Leenock the next GSL Champion. Most news couldn't even spell or pronounce Jjakji's name right. Artosis called Jjakji as a 0% chance to ever win that GSL. It was supposed to be another finals in a series of terrible finals the GSL has continually produced.
Instead it was the best ZvT series ever played up to that point.
