Really need Zest and TY to claim their wins for my FPL but I also want them to, would be weird if they didn't make it to the playoffs. They do have two games next week though so should be fine.

also it must be so annoying for SK that first he keeps being sent on Yeonsu to stomp tosses and he gets 2raxed and then, when they send him on Frost, he gets a protoss
Defended well a hydra/roach aggression, then it transitioned into SH vs Deathball, with Zest sniping/harassing and Soulkey not keeping up in bases / not harrassing as well, and ended with Zest rolling over SK army with Storm, Mothership, voids and tempests.

Best thing for FPL would be if stats and flash lose and TY or Zest goes Ace but even if Flash goes down he'll be sent out as ace so here's hoping for a 3-0!

You know that comment was aimed at his TvP ;_; I still think his TvZ is better than most Terrans and if he nailed his TvT he would go further in tournaments than he does. I like flash, but his TvP is (or maybe was now? #Believe) absolute trash and he has done little to change that (until today). Some of the games he has lost has been 90% his fault nothing else. He would throw away units, miss scout or even worst (his last TvP he lost) where he saw a blink all in scouted it and still DIED to it ;_;

Yes, without the WMs, the ghosts would have gotten owned by chargelots and then the templars move in. Tosses will need to make the colo transition earlier. I think Rain thought it was a marauder heavy army comp from Flash and overmade immortals.

About blink allin: Guess Polt&TaeJa are both trash as well... died against it, with scouting - multiple times. Blink was and still is simply amazingly strong.

if he had Colossis and not Immortals that would have been different IMO, Rain had like 3 or 4 Immortals which do nothing against the composition Flash had, not to mention it makes ghost quite hard since they have to go to the frontline to lan those EMPs and they rekt by Colossi/Chargelots

I will have to rewatch the engagements but it seems like Rain didn't have too many templars (he had 3 in his natural when Flash dropped so I assume he had 3 there). But there was only 4? in the main army (2 were sniped and 2 at the back didn't get good storms off). Rain seems to have been caught going colo transition + 4 base (not sure if Flash was making his 4th or not).
Flash had something like 7 ghosts vs 4 templars and with good control, that is not an even fight. Usually, templars outnumber ghosts (assuming no colossi) 1.5 to 1.
But have to give props to Flash for his control but Rain's comp just couldn't deal with it.

could he afford it though? I don't really know how P eco works, but it seemed like a fairly quick fourth and good upgrade timings denied him the robo tech.

He was in control of that game in almost every way: ebay block, caught every drop opportunity of rain, was ahead very early and after losing the drops because well feedback and storm are pretty strong defensive tools, je macroed up against a protoss in an incredible way, had the perfect EMP hits, (like if rain had storms like that, it would have gon the other way around) and brought home the game in a way only flash can

He has always used Ghosts...
he preferred massive bio pressure and delayed ghosts and usually died to whatever the p had. Mines he's never used.
To be fair, prepatch mines didn't really do much vs protoss given their cost...
that is also true, i was mainly surprised by how successfully he used ghosts. I don't really now why no HT flanks occurred, but flash was super scrupulous with scans and army movement today, maybe it was rain's mistake too.
if he had Colossis and not Immortals that would have been different IMO, Rain had like 3 or 4 Immortals which do nothing against the composition Flash had
could he afford it though? I don't really know how P eco works, but it seemed like a fairly quick fourth and good upgrade timings denied him the robo tech.
I think he could have considering his immortal count was at least 4. I think he just misread and thought Flash was going marauders heavy. There are 2 ways to deal with storm, archon, zealots. One is ghosts to deny the good storms from going off, this is more risky but if you get one good engagement, you win (like that game).
The other is the Polt marauders style where you just trade maruaders constantly. This is safer in the short term since 2 money storms won't end the game. But you can still lose in the long run from attrition. And immortals just flat out hardcounter that comp because the terran can never trade cost effectively with maruaders vs immortals.

Meant he plays down the game mostly in a macro way, not in the way Maru would (with small attacks that are very micro intensive), he likes to play it to the lategame (if he doesn't cheese) forming his perfect composition and win big battles. In 99% of the time he then moves back to regroup and increase his lead instead of punching his head through the wall into death like so many other Terran players do. But IMO he often is too passive

Nice to see both KT Terrans back to winning. Although I do feel that Rain played into Flash's style going for the late game with almost no pressure on Flash.

This is the second time where I've seen SK lose to protoss recently and I just don't quite understand how. It always looked to me like he was making smart decisions and whittling away Zest's expensive units.
