I've been praising Curious forever but people just don't accept how good he is

Good times. ppl called every zerg patch zerg back then They never called Stephano a patchzerg. did you ever read his chat when he streamed?

People rate code S players as if it means that they must play like gods No, but that was just really bad. Seriously, the macro was bad, the Phoenix weren't microed at all against Mutalisks. I'm not even too impressed by Curious, Paralyze made it quite easy for Curious to dominate him. I think Paralyse is a better player than what we have seen tonight. It might be just a bad day or exhaustion from the qualifier round to take the final Code S spot. IIRC he had to play a shit ton to get through. That can be quite telling.
Yeah, I won't argue against that. Paralyze is probably way better than what we've seen today - but his performance today wasn't even close to "Code S"-Level so far. That's all I'm saying

Curious has been a consistently strong player for over 2 years. He just can't quite close out anything besides his Code A run

To be fair he is rather inconsistent. They probably just caught his weaker side that shows up a fare amount.
I mean even back in the early days. He wins code A totally undefeated, then takes an eternity to make it past the ro16 in code S

Most importantly, he was sent to M-Cup to make sure Squirtle never won a lan. Unfortunately ForGG beat Squirtle first leaving Curious nothing to do but just win the thing.

Really disappointed by Paralyse play. Game 2 he has just stayed on gateway whitout teching. Only got a late blink + 1 warprism and stargate when he scouted mutas. Maybe he expected some SH heavy play in this map so he wanted to get a mobile stalker force to harass him.

At least we can say this wasn't Paralyze's worst GSL performance. Look on the bright side guys

I rate him as one of the strongest zergs out there atm! It kinda sucks for him that there's so few terrans in ro16, his ZvT is the best there is. Hope he goes far this season!

I actually really wanted Curious to win the last WoL GSL. It really seemed like it was set up for him to do it because iirc his zz was actually like 70% over a recent period leading up to that with wins over quite a few strong players. but then he just kind of dropped the ball against Symbol.

He is in Code S for a very long time, hence his nickname "The Gatekeeper", he isn't winning Code S but he is always there and always putting a good amount of people back to Code A. That is pretty damn consistent to me. ;D
