e: actually, do anti team players gain you points when they lose ace matches? because then sOs in ace would be much better
Indeed they do, if the are brought out and lose the - of losing is big enough to counter the + from being sent out as ace. You need to be made of balls sitting on a dungeon filled to the rim with balls in a country made of balls to make your anti out of ace players hoping they are sent out as ace and lose though, serious balls.
And again. Considering fact that Zealously and Wax guessed every even match winner right, let's go with JinAir. Lovely sOs will win, Rogue will lose again and Cure will just stamp another loss into CJ's record-book.

Yeah I think Mvp or prime for sure. Prime shouldn't get overconfident from winning a series... Creator is still shaky, MKP will for sure have to play some catch up and besides those two the lineup still does not impress at all.

fair enough but i think prime can pick up at another win against IM, CJ or whatever which should save them from last, MVP vs. Prime was the battle for last place imo

Yeah they definitely got a fighting chance this time around. For starters it's good to have all the races on your lineup.

Brendan bro. Just don't say stuff that you have no idea about. Bbyong just made the Ro16. He's not on a downswing. Also sOs and creator are as far away from each other playstyle-wise as it gets, while still playing protoss.

Even with that EffOrt could have held fine with the rally distance, it was not a 15 seconds distance proxy on a 2 player map... His decisions with lings were just bad, that's all. That was nowhere close to a build order win.

Why don't we see more Terrans put on the map a few units that could jump in the protoss nat' as soon as the protoss knocks on the door like Polt did ? (True question, would it be impossible to hold then ?)

Bbyong had to pull SCVs vs storm or not. He was on 2 base and saw the 3rd from toss. He was dead if he didn't expand so he might as well of pulled SCVs. Now since sOs held everything it's just a matter of time

It seems popular in Korea. I guess it is because when you play vs templar/zealot you kite a lot, and protoss is often robo-less for a long time. So you can use them to cover your retreat and hurt clumped up balls of zealots.

It could be that they know something we dont. Like for example that the change will go through. So they are already preparing to actually make terran favored against protoss for awhile with a big meta change by shutting down chargelot-archon-templar play and killing protoss who open colossus by SCV pulls.

With the current Mine it's not particularly worth it to use a reactor on the Factory, but it's not really "bad" either. Honestly, from personal experience, whether you do it or not does not seem to modify a lot the outcome of the game.

I feel like it's exactly as bad as great fungals. Storms and fungals I can only appreciate in the situations you just pointed out. Flanks or drops behind the army. When it's just a normal engagement I don't like it. Great just doesn't seem like the right word to use, honestly.
Because: VERY UNDERSTANDABLE STORMS or VERY REASONABLE STORMS doesn't quite have the hype to it.
I prefer the old "VERY EQUAL OPPORTUNITY FRIENDLY STORMS"
VERY STRAIGHTFORWARD STORMS
Like, these all are like -quite- not doing it :p
But then again, calling great storm because a player manages to hit 8 terran units with 4 storms is a bit meh as well.

They can exist, its not as bad as the old "GREAT FUNGALS" - but they can be sweet.
I generally only appreciate them if they are done like Keen's EMP's (sneaky ass drop behind the army and KABOOM)
Either that or a well baited flank.
Otherwise, yeh, its a bit of a facepalm call :\

VERY COMMONLY SEEN STORMS!
SENSIBLE STORMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Why not just adapt the Khaldor's "soooo many baaaneeelings" into "sooo many stooooorms"

it's not easy, unless your opponent is bad/careless that's why protoss has been doing ht flankings and warp prism ht storm.

yeah but you don't harp about the GREAT MACRO, when a pro player is just macroing on pro player standard. Hitting storms on a regular basis is a requirment for being a pro toss(no pun intended) player.

Well I wonder if Hydra has been practicing a little bit, I thought kespa players sit around all day looking at a wall. Stop making him look so bad lol.

I guess most people forgot hydra was the best zerg last season and also some of the most streaky player. He could throw in the worst horrible way but he could also beat anyone
I think what the casters are missing here is that this is probably an anti-Blink build where you have no Forge and no Robo. So if your eco gets messed up before you get your gates and Blink going then you're in a bad spot. But hero's not going for that, so it doesn't work as well

Yeah I´m getting really frustfrated to see Wolf and Brenden bash this build so much.

Seems like Terrans are building more marauders. That's countering P's recent preference for stalkers and storms. I'd expect to see more immortals from P later this week and next.
How the hell was herO down in supply the whole game when he had such a good start with cure's build doing 0 damage ??? Why did he take his 3rd so late ? I just can't understand what happened lol

He seemed to be going for a 2 base timing attack, that's why he cut probes for so long and didn't take a third until much later. But his timing failed.
herO got greedy - expected that Cure's fail build would leave Cure in a bigger hole than it did. So when herO moved out to end him, herO stopped making probes - but he didn't have enough army to end the game.

sOs was allegedly a casual player on Woongjin Stars so he probably only practices 10 hours a day

But he didn't even produce that much units... he was still down in supply... 2 base chargelot templar attacks used to work but you need much more zealots

At least 25 hours a day.
tbh, their practice is only against CJ. So, not the most effective.
"Oh yeah herO should go 2-0 in week one he's been playing great! And I know you originally had Cure in your lineup but he has two hard opponents he'll probably go 0-2" - my brain.

Unless a miraculous 180 turn happens with CJ, they are going to be the Airforce ACE of this season.
Nah, with new points system, CJ Entus can throw 2 rounds into dump, then suddenly get two 3rd places which they're completely capable of, or even just climb to round playoffs and they will have enough to enter SPL playoffs.

Man CJ is just TERRIBLE in SPL this year.. why is this? Coach Park is really looking like he has no fucking clue how to prepare his team for matches. He's taken Sora a perfectly good Protoss player and turned him into shit, herO just wrecks in Individual leagues where he's far far away from Coach park and his curse, but as soon as he comes back for PL Coach Park puts his juju on him and he sucks. Hydra finally won a game maybe he can let everyone know how to shake the Cure of Coach Park? Please Hydra share your secret!!!
