I know he did. That's my whole point.
In what universe is it fair for Supernova to have to play against Zest Trap and Leenock while Bbyong gets donated games by TRUE and Myungsik.
It's not indicative at all of who is the superior player, it's pure and simple dumb luck. Makes me very mad as a GSL fan to see such disparity in the groups.

Bbyong is so inconsistent but his play against SH and this game are definitely enjoyable. Im thoroughly entertained by this series

Well life is not always fair. Besides, SuNo in top form could have actually advanced from his group but his play was quite disappointing.

Somewhat odd that there were no quality games today, yet it was overall quite entertaining.

Overall an entertaining day of Starcraft. Players didn't play their best but since nobody did it kinda balanced out in the end and the games were mostly close and entertaining in a scrappy kind of way.

true is a better zerg than leenock leenock is no top zerg anymore SuNo was just the worst player in his group, he would have failed in this group as well

It happens basically every season, then all of a sudden they win WCS Korea and WCS Season finals in a row and everyone is their friend, its not new

Makes me very mad as a GSL fan to see such disparity in the groups. the groups are still seeded, the problem is they are seeded by recent GSL performance where it's previous season top 8 and then the next 3 tiers of points probably from the yearly 2013 results. For example you had like 1. Parting 2. Bbyong 3. TRUE 4. Myungsik as the seeds. The seeding is going to be kind of weird because I think someone said there are 12 new players to Code S this season. Looking at the Supernova group it appears that Zest was a 4 seed even though he has been really good in other tournaments but he has no individual results. Supernova and Leenock were the 2/3 seed (not sure which order). Bracket luck plays a role in basically any tournament. It just might be more prevalent here because of the surge of new Code S players
The 4 seeds:
Solar
Zest
Panic
Sora
Myungsik
Classic
Dark

Not a single true statement in this entire post.
Leenock is still a top class Zerg, he just isn't up to the new bar that Soulkey and Jaedong have set but that's not a knock on him as much as it's a salute to how well those two are playing. His play in his group was easily twice what we saw from TRUE today.

A lot of that has to do with the mass exodus of top class Terrans to WCS America and Europe which makes me sad. We're going to get some great global finals as a result of this mess, but it's really diluting the quality of the GSL play.

Not saying he's bad but he's arguably one of the weaker zergs in Code S this season
